So far im not too impressed to be honest, I was expecting too much from this unit. The one thing I noticed was better fluid movement during the film. Also no chroma bug is a plus. But I have this terrible yellowish look to the picture. I have calibrated the unit and Sanyo Z1 again using...
Scored a Decemeber 2003, so lucky. Will test it with my Sanyo Z1 tonight. Does anybody know if the Z1 Service Menu fix is just going to stretch the image? Thanks Daniel
Hey all, Just a couple of questions: 1. what build dates should I avoid for component conversion? Looks like Dec 2003 was that last known good? 2. can you tell the build date from the box? If not does anyone know where I can find one in Toronto with a good build date? (I hope this post...
Im thinking Arnold names only! Ben (The Running Man) Dutch (Predator) Conan (duh) Doug (Total Recall) Uncle Bob (T2) Kalidor (Red Sonja) John (Commando) Ivan (Red Heat) Howard (Jingle All the Way) Gordy (Collateral Damage) Jericho (End of Days) or my person fave Julius (Twins)
Inquiring minds need to know! :D Has anyone been able to confirm that this version is anamorphic, or at least better than the orginal horrible horrible transfer? "Don't drink and bake!" - Daniel
Andrew, I have the B-Tech 77's I believe for my Mini-Monitor's as well. I found that although they clamp down well I still needed one screw at the bottom. You could strap them in as well. ******BTW they can be found locally at Futureshop. **** I originally ordered mine from Crutchfield...
Anybody using 2 Aura Bass Shaker Pro's to energize a sofa. I am wondering if two Pro's are going to be enough. Also I want to have a dispersed effect with these. I hoping attaching these units to the lower frame instead of the seat bottom will cause that effect. Any suggestions or expereince...
I am seriously looking to add a pair of bass shakers to my home theater as well. I was looking at a pair of Aura Bass Shaker Pro's in conjunction with a 120 Watt Subwoofer plate amp from Parts Express. It seems like the best combination for energizing a couch. Lol, I like that way that last...
I was thinking of building a 2.35:1 shaped screen and using vertical curtains and the zoom lens of my projector for a masking system. Seems like it may be a cheap around the masking system. - Daniel
The first movie I have ever scene in a theater also happens to be my favourite movie of all time (I am 27) And the winner is Empire Strikes Back. The sad part is I am still waiting to watch it at home :[ or am I? Muhahahahaha Anyway, I found the following movies had an effect on me as...
I would love to see a new cut of this movie for one. It is not the best movie in the world :b but I can never resist anything Arnold. Just make sure it's 5.1 like the R2 version. Oh yeah while we are at it can we get the R2 Conan the Barbarian with 5.1 I must hear Basil's musical score...
My Girlfriend is currently holding out on a Rushmore DVD purchase. She really wants the Criterion over the barebones release to match her Royal Tenenbaums release. This is what she told me the other day. "Why doesn't everyone get a Front Projector instead of a Projection TV? It sooo much...

Man! My Sub died AGAIN! This is the second SUB I have been through. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what could have caused this? My Paradigm PW-2200 has lost all power. Tested it at another outlet and the same thing occured. This happens when the switch is set to always on or...
Okay, this is gonna end up being a long post and maybe a tad off-topic, but I can't resist. I own and enjoy both Terminator movies. I am big fan of Awnold and his work. I probably use too many "Arnoldisms" at work because of his movies. T1 The Terminator time line and movie worked...
Bill J, The "good" Sargent that gets shot by the "bad" soldiers hints that the island is being used as a containment area. He makes an argument about it while him and Jim are locked up.
As for the baseball bat, I believe a lot of british football fans carry baseball bats. j/k!
I love and hate this line cause its delivery sooo damn funny. Fast and the Furious - "I need NOS! - "I've seen you drive! You gotta a heavy foot, you will blow yourself to pieces" LOL - Daniel I

I've had this item for 4 months now and have finally decided to go the front projector route. It still has 8 months Sony warranty on it. It has just been used for occaisional movie watching. No Burn in here...
I HAVE to agree with the BATMAN transfer! I love this movie but it just looks horrid on my 57" Sony. Watch that after TPM and then lets talk about crappy transfers.
