Hardbodies was my favorite. I was fifteen when I saw it at the theater. Naturally, I thought it was the greatest film ever made... ah hell I still do! (unfortunately, not on DVD)
Okay... Here's the full article: SORRY, UH-HUH. COPIED/PASTED ARTICLE DELETED BY ADMIN. DO NOT POST COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL IN ITS ENTIRETY ON THIS BOARD.
It's not out on DVD yet (still in theaters), but when it comes along (no pun intended) I suggest Porn Star: The Legend of Ron Jeremy. Just saw it a few days ago. It's HILARIOUS! Although, I would have come up with a different title, like... Porn Star: A Schlub with a Schlong.
I guess it all comes down to this... Outside of an anamorphic transfer, is anything "missing" image wise from the current version of TSitS? I will accept full-frame, but p&s is unacceptable!
BTW, I really appreciate ALL of your posts, thank you.

Okay, here's what I don't understand about "matting" TSitS. This film was made in 1963, long before home video was even considered. Why would the animators take the time and effort to prepare backgrounds etc... that the audience would never see? It's possible that they wanted a Wide Screen...
I'm a little confused about the OAR of Sword in the Stone. The DVD is listed as 1.33 fullscreen while IMDb lists it at 1.75. Disney has been very good at releasing their animated in product in OAR and the IMDb isn't always accurate. Any clarification would be appreciated.
I worked at a classical music store back in the eighties. I had a customer who refused to buy CD's unless they were DDD (digitally recorded, mixed and mastered). He didn't care about performance or artistic excellence, he just wanted pristine sound. (after all, the analog Karajan/Beethoven...
In regards to ABC's Cinderella broadcast, I was pretty offended by the blatant hard sell to the little ones for Cinderella II. I didn't mind the commercials, I would expect that. It was the "teacher with a pre-school class" interludes that really bothered me. Disney was obviously trying to...
Thanks Richard,
Region free I could afford, PAL conversion is another matter. (or is it?)
Criterion, give me Throne of Blood, the best adaptation of Macbeth I've ever seen!
I liked this film. BTW, were there any other movies based on our "war" in Granada?
Oh,
and Brian E., what movie is the still in your sig from? I can't quite make it out... Looks like a great demo for WS!
Kraig is onto it.
From my research, Delirious was a filmed document of Eddie's Grammy Award winning album Eddie Murphy - Comedian. According to the Library of Congress, CBS (Columbia, Sony) is the claimant on that sound recording copyright.
And interesting enough, I couldn't find ANY info on...
The last outstanding "subtitled" film I saw was Amores perros AKA Love's a Bitch. It's similar to Pulp Fiction in that it has three different stories that interweave with each other. Highly entertaining.
They've released patch v.1.17f supposedly (the latest) but I can't seem to download it. Is anyone else having the same problem? I click on the link and get the "page not available" screen. It's driving me up the wall!
