hey guys, can any speakers, like regular bookshelf's be used as surround sound speakers? or do they have to be speakers that are called surround sound speakers?

oh crap, i just tried it again, my amp isnt getting hot, correct that.....and the fan on back of it isnt even turning on even though i turned it all the way up, so it must not be trying to output anything, because the fan is operated by how much the amp is putting out i think....

hey guys, the other day i was jammin some metallica on my cheapo stereo, even though its pretty loud, and i blew a fuse, its a 125v 6.3amp fuse but all radioshack had was 200 something volt 6.3amp fuses, and the guy there said them should work, so i put that in and my stereo will turn on and my...

neat, i am gonna buy some generic sony center channel and surround sound speaker combo thing to, for like super cheap, i dont care, they'll work for me, this stuff will just be in my bedroom.... whats a good reciever for around $250 that will pump out atleast 100w per channel to 5...

heh.....talkin bout a 12" woofer....i am on a tight budget, i see people here talking about buying $10,000 pairs of speakers.....hehe.....cant afford that right now....i just want something decent for my bedroom to jam some metallica =]
