I believe Ian is probably right. I only use DirecTv Tivo units and know that the single subscription is good for all three of them (mirror charges apply). But I do not believe your lifetime sub can cross platforms ie. standalone and sattellite subscription. So you would incur charges to start...

From my understanding, as long as the unit with the lifetime sub is activated, the other one will also receive tivo services at no extra charge. I know this is true the directivo's. I am doing it.

Make sure you are in full mute mode (not half mute) then while holding mute, hit menu (on set), then "s" appears, hit menu on remote and you are there. This is what I have to do on the 50H81. The half mute thing really threw people off. email me personally if you have problems.

Thanks for the help guys. It appears that this multiswitch input wiring was different from the other one. Hence, me wiring it incorrectly. I got it figured out and working now. I just need to figure out how to activate the second tuner in my satt60 now. Again, sincere thanks for the replies.
