Congrats! I too recently switched to all Klipsch! I also don't quite understand the "love it or hate it" Klipsch thing; guess we just have better taste in our music than some!;)
I just upgraded to Klipsch horns all around in my 7.1 system and could not be happier; the horns have really added clarity to my system, particularly the center channel mix on movies; I am hearing things in previously watched movies that I never heard before! Klipsch----you love em or hate em! I...
I would guess that you definitely have something either hooked up wrong or you haven't completed the setup steps; I've had my 4802 for 2 weeks and have yet to crank it up much---movies are fantastic and loud at far less volume than my old Onkyo; I would suggest you repeat the setup procedures...
Maybe one of you can help me: I have a parasound HCA2003A, 3 ch amp powering my fronts;I connected it to my Panamax 5300 into one of the high power ports; it still won't go on and off with my system; not sure I understand the theory behind the "12v trigger"; suggestions?
I am currently using several coax cables as RCA connects; my local part supplier (Electrotex.com) has coax/rca connectors that just screw onto the coax connection. very cheap too!
I have my 4802 pushing all my 7.1 setup; would it make sense to use an external amp to power, say the fronts? or the rears? The way my HT is built, all components have their own "cubbyhole" within my HT wall; there is no spot for another amp; if I left it behind the wall, is there a way to...
First, I have a Dtivo and I also got my son an Ultimate for his BD (because it was difficult to find a Dtivo at a reasonable price last month); However, I talked with my satellite installer/repairman two days ago and he was telling me about all the problems he was seeing with the Ultimate...
I also have differing speakers in my HT; mainly because I like the sound of what I have; not to say I won't eventually move to matched someday; I currently have Celestions as Front L&R; Bose C, Klipsch as my side surrounds and Polk M-1's as my back surrounds; also a M&K sub; part of my dilema...
Oh yeah; I have the pronto pro, so I won't be using the brick that came with it; but my wife thinks she might like to use it---mainly for volume, mute and channel; if not, I might give it away or sell it.
Thanks for the tips: I am connecting the following: RCA 61310 HDTV Mits 8020 progscan DVD Apex 1100W dvd Philips DSR6000 Directivo Toshiba VCR Speakers: Celestion Fronts, Klipsch side surrounds, Polk M-1's-back surrounds Didn't get it all finished last night, so I will complete it...
Was a very good series and was a great finale; I don't get caught up in the storyline like my wife, but I do enjoy good entertainment; while at times this series bored me with apathy for some characters, for the most part I will miss having it on.
I had the same problem with the 3750, then got the 4700 and had similar problems; finally ended up with the Mits8020 and have no complaints whatsoever.
Haven't seen much on this new show; have seen the first 3 episodes and think it is the most cutting edge show around; makes NYPD look pretty tame; ne1 else watch this? do you agree?
I'm no expert, but everything I have ever read about H/K is that their amps are extremely underated ( or better, their rated wattages are on the low side); I had the 120 for awhile and even though it was something like 40W/channel, it would blow you away; don't ever rely solely on the "rated" or...
While there are occasional pops in the sound, the kind of pixelation you are describing in my case is caused by weather (wind moving tree branches, rain, heavy clouds, etc. that block the lineof sight); first check your dish and make sure it has clear L-O-S;
I am looking to sell my 4 month old pronto and charging station;just don't seem to have the time or patience to spend programming it;everything is in perfect condition and comes with manuals, etc. Asking $250 shipped to anywhere in US
I recently sold several older Dtv and Dish receivers on Ebay; problem is there are a lot of them out there. Don't expect to make a lot of money selling them.
You will have to pay a $9.95/mo tivo fee or a $250 lifetime subscription fee---both will be included on your DTV bill;all new dtivos come with their own card;I have the Philips DSR6000, but many think the Sony is also very good (though considerably more expensive);
The most current Dtivo...
IMHO, Madden is one of the top three in all sports broadcasting, right up there with Summerall and Michaels;although I think Fouts has done a great job, and I really enjoy Miller's antics, I think Madden will add some real depth and professionalism to MNF; you kind of knew he would make a move...
I'm not sure what the criteria is for receiving them; but I know it is not their credit card; I have been receiving them for almost 4 years; always pay by debit card; have made several returns also; perhaps they don't update their mailing lists too often?
