I have the S-150 system with SS-250 surrounds and a MX-350 sub. It is great for home theater (I use it as a dedicated home theater system) but not as good as my Thiel 3.5's for music. The price you quote is a good one....I have been happy with my S-150 system.

Here's a way to build inexpensive and fine looking bases for the M&K system. All products available at Home Depot. 18 X 18 inch concrete patio pavers 3/4" pipe connector thing (metal plate with four holes for bolts and a 3/4" pipe connector) 2 inch bolts with washers and nuts 3/4"...

Has anybody tried putting the Vandy surrounds on the ceiling? Is this possible?

I'll be putting the SVS in a different spot than the MX-350. I got the smoothest response by putting the MX-350 in front in line with the front speakers. I was thinking of putting the SVS on the side or in the back of the room.

I have a M&K MX-350 sub (and plan to keep it) with the S-150THX system. Thinking about adding a SVS Sub. Not sure whether to pick the 16-46, 16-46+, or the CS_Ultra. I'm happy with the MX-350 but am looking for additional very low frequency content. Room size is 4500 cubic ft. Cost is not...

I have recently purchased a Pioneer Elite 510 HDTV and now really understand how bad our cable service is. I want to upgrade to some sort of satellite service to get better picture quality and access to HDTV programming. Suggestions on service and receiver????
