is DSP the Dolby Digital and DTS or just Yamaha's and Kenwood's own stuff?

Anyone? Also, since I'll end up with an amp anyways power isn't that big of a concern. So between the two does anybody have an opinion on which does the processing better?

I need to decide between the Yamaha 5560 and the new Kenwood VR-6070. I can get either through an employee accomodation for the same price. Which would be the better receiver? Both have pre-outs and I do plan on picking up a good amp in a few months.
