I've had seven pugs over the coarse of my life, with the seventh being my puppy I got in May named Muggsy. I got his name from the basketball player Muggsy Bogues. My last pug Trog died last October, just shy of turning 15.
Pugs are very lovable, especially the males(in my experience). They're...
My Magnavox NB530MGX played the disc. I have it connected to a non-HD TV through composite cables in a spare bedroom. It has a compenent output as well, but I haven't tried playing the disc that way yet.
Still got power and all that here where I live in New Hampshire. The snow hasn't accumulated too much yet, but it's pretty windy and the visibility is getting pretty bad. One good thing is that my town doesn't usually have problems with losing power, or getting it back in a timely fashion. Only...
Thanks for replying. I did get my order, but wanted to close the account. I also sent a web message, and they said to go to the site and close the account. The site didn't have any way I could find to do it.
I ordered some stuff from there for Christmas, and now I can't figure out how to delete the account. I sent a message to the site, and they said I could do it there, but I can't find where to do that.
Now there's a female turkey that's been hanging around my yard over the past few weeks. I've never seen a wild turkey around here before, so I thought it could've escaped from the turkey farm that's about five miles away. There are wild turkeys as well in New Hampshire, so it could be a wild one...
I have a DVD of Milo And Otis that's a flipper with widescreen on one side, and fullscreen on the other. The widescreen version isn't the best, but I've seen worse. A Blu-Ray would be nice, and maybe they could include the Japanese version, which is longer.
I'm not grossed out or afraid of them now, knowing they're not a dangerous member of their family. They like trees and other vegetation, unlike a lot of other true bugs like kissing bugs, assassin bugs, and wheel bugs. No one believed me that they smelled like pears until I found another one...
I finally found out what the bug is. It's a leaf footed bug: From what I read on them, they are known to release a pear or green apple scent when threatened.
Those Geico ones where the guy asks questions, especially the ones with the bird in the hand and the little piggy. I really don't mind most of the other ones like them though.
I got the 530 in May at Wal-Mart for 78 dollars. It plays all the Blu-Rays I have so far(29 in all) with no problem. It did have a slight problem with lagging after layer change on some of my DVDs that I've played on it, which my regular DVD player hasn't had. Overall it's an ok player to me...
To go along with seeing the deer, I had the unpleasant experience of pulling a dead baby skunk out of my pool this morning. I felt bad for it, but the smell was worse than when they get hit by a car. Yea the pool is fenced in, but it still managed to get in the pool area.
I didn't take offense, I understand how animals can become nuisance. I've had problems with feral cats and deer mice myself. It's just nice seeing animals starting to come back. For a long time it was mainly birds, squirrels, and occasionally chipmunks.
Yea, I know there's an over population of deer in a lot of places in the country, and they're a pain to people. I don't see them too often here, especially since the town I live in has grown a lot in the past 20 years. I used to see pheasants, raccoons, and opossums, but don't anymore. There...
I went to clean off the cover to my pool, and I came across a deer and her two babies grazing on the grass near the cover. I scared her, because she started snorting and grunting at me. I left, so they all could run away.
I think Jay Leno should just go onto something else, even though I like watching some of his stuff. I could of sworn that towards the end of his run on the Tonight Show that he said if his new show didn't work out, that he would leave without a fuss, or something to that effect. I could be wrong...
I just looked at the DVD in my Friday The 13th box set, and only the top bit of what was written was shown. So it was that way in that edition as well. I had the the old bare bones single disc version years ago, but don't remember if it showed more.
History Channel has a weekly series every Tuesday at I think 10 PM now based off of their special Life After People. Just figured I'd let anyone know in case they were interested in watching.
I wouldn't wouldn't pick the decade I was a teen in, which was the '90s. I was listening more to '60s and '70s stuff than to was popular then. I got the mix of the '60s and '70s from my dad and mom.
The only movie I remember ever stopping is Shadow Of The Vampire, and I admit a lot of the movies I own aren't exactly top notch. I have no idea why I couldn't finish it, but it just didn't hold my interest.
This season is definitely better than last season. I hope they can get Giovanni Ribisi back for an episode this season. If I remember correctly, he's been in at least one episode each season.
