To Ryan's point, I'm planning on getting the 25-31, although I definitely plan on trying the 20hz tune with the port plug. Would the lack of having a SS filter in the 25-31CS+ be an issue in most circumstances?

So I guess, ideally, you could use both to tweak the sub. I wonder though, even with the 25-31+, if it's neccesary in most cases to get the svs01? Kevin

Does anyone know when the new series will be available at places like J and R or buy.com? So far the only place I've seen them is on ebay. I'm also curious to find out if there's much of a difference between the mark 1's and 2's.....

It was $229 at buy.com last week. You could wait and see if they bring it back to that price next week.
