did anyone watching it in HD notice it go blurry for a second a few times? i can't tell if it's the tv or the network. we're getting comcast digital cable, chicago area, tv is a toshiba 42h83. it was kind of annoying. show was not bad though. very dark. probably would say that the original...
wow, i thought 1500 was a crappy price, until i reread your first post and saw 2 PAIRS of studio 40s. 1500 would be quite a steal in my opinion. how much would you let one pair of 40s go for?
i opened up my paradigm studio 20s recently because i was getting an annoying resonance at certain frequencies. it was pissing me off but i didn't want to bring them in because that would have probably cost me money. well first off, i was glad that the drivers themselves were pretty beefy...
Chris, Thanks very much. that fixed it. actually, i had played around with that option, but thought it did nothing. but i just turned off the player, then turned it back on, and then the Dolby Digital track was available. I should have thought of doing that, but i guess i didn't. thanks again!
i'm not sure i understand what you mean. this is a dvd audio/video player, i so assumed it would be able to access the dolby digital track off a dvd audio disc?
hello people, sorry this is so long, skip to the last paragraph for a recap. i bought bjork's vespertine today because we got a new dvd player that can play dvd audio discs. but i'm really confused. we have a toshiba sd4800, and an onkyo tx-ds 787 receiver. on the back of the disc...
i have a pair of HD433s. i paid 15 dollars for them. they are worth 15 dollars. probably not any more than that though. they don't sound that great, and they aren't very comfortable, but they are better than the headphones supplied with portables.
i've enjoyed blazing arrow as well. first in flight gets so much play time in my car. some of the lyrics in that song make me shiver. another good cd i just bought is J-Live's new album. there are some awesome beats on this cd, and his lyrical skills are superb. i suggest anyone into that...
when these places refoam, do they use foam again? wouldn't it be better to replace them with rubber surrounds? or would that change the driver's characteristics?
you could probably get the hd500s for that much, but i would recommend against it. they don't sound very good. the sr-60s would be much better at that price.
am i the only one that feels that lots of the mega buck equipment is bought by people who don't really care much about how it sounds? yes, i'm sure there are the few that save up and buy equipment because they want it, but it seems that the majority are just really wealthy people who just want...
i used to like them a lot. saw them in concert a few times. their trumpet player was awesome. he could do that whole breath cycling thing, whatever it's called. haven't kept up much with em lately, but they put out some decent cds, if you're into that kind of music.
