Man, personally I would never sit down on a toilet to take a crap cos of how dirty I know most public toilets are around here. And if you take a big crap, and the water splashes up onto your nether regions? The thought alone is bad enough. Do that business at home for crying out loud if you're...
Mark, Haven't caught ur posts in the other threads but i'll check over them. Just a quick update, well turns out I was wrong, and it wasn't just her ex and her going alone together for a vacation, just her and other friends... Guess it does pay to ask instead of wondering! :b I really...
Yep, I think Michael was right when he said "Ask her". Will do, good advice. And she did say that she would like me to go on vacation with her, whatever that means. Clutching at straws and what have you lol :) Mike
I should probably clarify a few things, since I wasn't particularly accurate with what happened!!! And seems a lot of the responses picked up on that! My bad... I didn't actually ask her, "Are you in love with me"... I just replied when she asked, "There's a difference between being in love...
Ok thanks guys. Well, she's been in a few relationships before, but the other night she said, "There's a difference between being in love, and loving someone. I wonder what it feels like to be in love?" I guess this meant she has never really "been in love" with her ex's, although she still...
So i've met this girl and she says, "There's a difference between loving someone, and being in love". What is the difference? Is one where you can't give yourself completely because there aren't the feelings you get from "being in love"? Is one temporary, and the other a long-term thing? Can...
Personally, I think that speed limits are there for a reason, and people should just live with it instead of yapping on and on as happens a lot where I live. I don't have much of a problem with speeding per say, only those ppl who speed in a dangerous environment such as when its wet, dark and...
Ralf was concussed after the crash, and if you look at the replay, you can clearly see he was unconscious immediately after the point of impact. Cheers, Mike

I don't really get the "idea" one, in Australia, its pronounced exactly as i-dear...
My friend used to pronounce Grand Prix as "grand pricks" instead of "gron pree". ;)
Cheers,
Mike
Excellent race, think its the first one I've seen where only half the grid finished. I don't think Ferarri's dominance is all down to their car, Schumancher drove some incredible laps before he crashed, even breaking the lap record. Barrichello has the same car, but has yet to win this season...
Wow, the S2000 is around $20K cheaper over there and the Boxster around $40K cheaper again! Remind me to move to the US when I want to buy a new car ;) Cheers, Mike
I guess if you're shopping in the kiddie section of the stores 3 inches is the difference between humiliation and a big boost in self-confidence... Being a short guy myself, I can't begin to count the number of disadvantages its given me over the years :frowning: I don't think I'd want to break...
Heaps of great movies already mentioned here, but I have to add the Gattaca soundtrack, especially the piece by the 12-fingered pianist (Schubert's Impromptu) and the closing scene when Jerome flies to the stars... Magnificent :) Cheers, Mike
Brett, Caught onto this thread a tad late, but to answer your original question, I tried using my 2 year old budget Pioneer dvd player as a transport to my new Accuphase DP-55V cd player (that can double as a processor with 2 digital ins), and the difference between using the Accuphase's own...
