I have a Yamaha Rx-v1200 and an Adcom amp for my subs and rear surrounds. I'm getting an annoying hum when i have the 12v trigger cable hooked up. When i unplug the cable, the hum is gone. Any suggestions on how to eliminate this hum? Right now I have a simple 1/8 inch 2 conductor cable...

I am looking at the Onkyo 797 and Yammi v1200. I like the THX features and 7.1 ins/outs of the 797. But I like the Yammi sound and it has almost all the same features. Do you find you use the THX post-processing often or just for some DVDs or not at all? I'm just concerned that some DVDs...

Does anyone know if the AVR 520 has a matrix 6.1 for Dolby Digital? It has DTS 6.1 matrix/discrete, but does it have a 6.1 mode for DD? I'm considering this Receiver as I want to upgrade to 6.1. But I want to have both DD 6.1 and DTS 6.1. TIA.
