John, I thought the Amp One bridged was 200 watts @ 8 ohms and approx. 360 watts @ 4 ohms. This was told to me by someone from Audio Source. Also, even if you double the distortion to .08 for the Amp One isn't that better than the .1 from the 5.3. Plus, I am concerned about the noise from...

Jeff and John, I was thinking about the amp one vs. the monobloc becouse it has lower distortion .04 vs. .1 (I thought that was better). Also, the amp one would fit on my shelf where the receiver currently resides. Why is bridging not a good idea vs. the monobloc? Thanks, Bill

Doug, I don't think I would consider spending more than these amps cost already for power to my speakers.
