Michael is right. Here's pretty much all the major news topics concerning Austin since the "incident".

Austin isn't fired, he was "sent home". If he was fired, then he could wrestle for other promotions, and there is no way the WWE would...
I'd really like to know what the rest of the nation's reaction to this whole situation is. I live in Spotsylvania County, site of two of the attacks, one less than a mile from where I live, and every moment of every day is focused on this horrific event. The whole thing is very much surreal...
I can tell you firsthand that this whole situation is a living hell. I live in Spotsylvania County, site of two of the shootings, and words cannot describe the fear that this entire community has on a daily basis. That being said, I was looking forward to this movie and even if the sniper was...
What does make it "fact"? When basically the vast majority of film critics have dubbed this to be a "great" film, people who have seen more films in one year than most do in a lifetime, people who make their livings and base their lives on the study of motion pictures conclude that this is...
I downloaded "Win in the End" by Mark Safan on Napster years ago. This was the song that played near the end while Michael J. Fox and the team are making the comeback to tie the score. Great song. Listening to it as I write this.:)
Stephen is right. I love the show personally but can't stand the skits. The interviews are terrific but certainly vary between guests. Last night had Jon Lovitz and Rob Reiner. Lovitz tried to upstage Short and didn't really get the whole schtick. Reiner just sat back and let Short do his thing...
As it stood late last week, the projected lineups were:
Flair's RAW group will include the following talent:
-Steve Austin
-Chris Jericho
-Kevin Nash
-Scott Hall
-Kane
-Rob Van Dam
-The Hardy Boyz
-Lita
-The Big Show
-X-Pac
-William Regal
-Billy & Chuck...
This may be a stupid question, but does this mean that those that are already on store shelves will be removed on the 18th, meaning come the 19th none will be found, or is it like Snow White, where there are still ones on the shelves but no new ones will be shipped?
(Wow, that was quite a...
"even Big Boss Man is entertaining compared to this guy."
Let's not say things we can't take back.:D As bad as Billy is, was, and will forever be, at least he was never in the Kennel from Hell.
Alright, Ryan.
Splitting up Edge/Christian was inevitable. How many times can you watch the same 6 guys go through the same tables, fall off the same old ladders, and be hit by the same old chairs before it gets completely boring. We saw it at No Mercy 99, Wrestlemania 2000, Summerslam 2000...
Vampiro, I believe, has been healed for quite some time and wrestles regularly in Japan. If I remember correctly, according to the wrestling "dirt sheets", Vampiro was a major a**hole behind the scenes in WCW (A jerk?!?. In WCW?!?! Go on!). His wrestling ability was nothing special, and besides...
"And Kevin Nash started in the WWF before he started in WCW."
F.Y.I. you guys, Hall and Nash wrestled in WCW/NWA long before WWF. OZ... Diamond Studd... ring a bell? Early 90's, maybe?
Kids nowadays, no respect for history.:D
Marvin,
After thinking about it for a while, you're right. For the life of me, I can't think of a match he actually carried to make it an all-time classic. But that being said, the sheer volume of good to great matches that he has been involved in lead me to believe that, although he's no...
I got a question for everybody, who do you think will win the Hogan/Rock match? First of all, it will probably stink. Hogan is far too old, far too slow, and has a worse moveset then Nash. Although, he may have been able to actually wrestle a decent match in Japan around 84, that was 18 years...
Thi,
Name me all these mysterious heel/face turns. He began the WWF at Survivor Series 96 as a face, turned into a heel in 97 because the fans hated him. He stayed a heel until mid to late 98 where he toyed around being a face, until he turned full heel again at Survivor Series 98. He stayed...
Rock won at both Wrestlemania 13 and at Wrestlemania 14, never in a main event though, and Michaels was our generations Flair. Heck, Flair was our generations Flair. Jericho is good, maybe great, but I'd take Benoit, Angle, Austin as better wrestlers, no question.
Yep, if this Olympics has proved one thing, it's that all nations can put aside their petty difference and come together with peace and unity.
Oh wait, ask the Russians or the Koreans or well, I guess basically anybody that doesn't reside in North America.
I'm one of the many that believes the show has definitely fallen quite a bit in recent years but remains enjoyable nonetheless. The only part that made me laugh out loud was the "Back to the Future" reference.
What would really make me happy is if they would put out some WCW DVD's. They own their library, why not make a best of Ric Flair or best of Sting or maybe some of the better Pay-Per-Views like Wrestlewar '89 or Spring Stampede '99.
Dilfer's gotta be smiling.:D
Ravens looked absolutely horrible. You can blame their offense, or lack thereof, but their vaunted D was nowhere to be found. Maybe next time Lewis and company talk trash, they'll actually back it up.
Here's to a Rams win.:emoji_thumbsup:
Sucks to be a Chicago fan today. Two hometown boys return, Jordan and McNabb, and two Chi-Town teams go down. Well, there's always next year (for the Bears at least, can't say the same for the Bulls).
If I had to pick a quarterback, my choice would all depend on the stadium my team plays in. If it was outdoors, Favre. Indoors, Warner. How's that for a wishy-washy answer?
If I had to definitively pick a QB, you gotta go with Favre. Three-time MVP for a reason. He hasn't had the receivers that...
