    Klipsch SB-1 (black ash-near mint) $75

Thanks. Let me see how this next couple weeks go. I just changed jobs & not sure about even that small amount of cash (unless you can take credit cards w/ paypal) Definitely interested. Been wanting to update my Quintet surrounds, but the RB-3 (a match to my system) are too big for my stands.

How Long do You Bake Your Ribs?

I just oven baked some boneless country style pork ribs last week & cooked them at 350 for about 2 hours. They were done.... : ) I prefer the slow cooker method on low for 5 hrs....but didn't have 5 hours to wait. A simple recipe I came up w/ (w/ ideas from allrecipes.com) Some ketchup...

Do they make the adapter I need/want?

Ok. I was at radio shack yesterday & noticed they had a really cool Texas Hold'em Game you could play on the TV. 6 remotes & one main "control box" with one yellow video cable & one white audio. What I want to do is keep the control box near the entertainment stand. I could easily hook up...

    PS3 Anyone have one ?

I have no problem w/ the $600 price tag. On question I had was online play? Does the PS3 support it? I think the graphics on the PS3 look better than the 360 (at least from the screenshots I've seen) but I really liked having "Live" w/ my Xbox.

    PS3 Anyone have one ?

Quick question: When does everyone think the PS3 will become more widely available? (to buy it locally) I really want one, but not enough to pay more than they are worth or buy from a private seller.

How do I stop phone spam?

Here in the great (lol) state of Indiana we have two "do not call" lists set up. One is for the state & one is national. Both available online. I also have privacy manager but I rarely see those calls come in....(if at all) If I don't recognize a number I let the machine get it...

How do you start a really good fire in the fireplace with real wood?

I'm sure you'll get a lot of good answers but I'll start. I liked to saw off a chunk or two of those firelogs & use them as a starter. Put a couple pieces of the firelog on the bottom (or on a nice flat piece of wood), build up with some small pieces of wood (kindling), then bigger...

    Happy Belated Toilet Day!!

Woah. I better put on my tinfoil hat. Today I bought a new toilet seat. Do you think their satellite has been sending out mind-altering subliminal messages? I bought the house in May.....but for some reason today I felt I NEEDED to replace it.? We better look further into this.

    Projector/Screen Question

Is this true? I've heard waves come from variations in temperature/humidity/etc. So wouldn't having it out expose it too these more? I could leave my screen down full time, but I keep it up. Sims said it best. Once you start using a projector you won't care about bulb life : )

What's the weirdest food combo you (or someone you know) eat?

Yeah. Ham rocks. I love watching his show. Very unique. McMuffins / grape jelly is pretty good on their normal mcmuffins. In fact I'm making my own tonight. Yum. Chocolate & beer. ? Hmm

We refinished our Kitchen Cabinets (DIY style)

ACK. Golden Oak is my favorite "color" wood so I like the before better : ) It does look good though. I'm a rookie homeowner but wouldn't changing out the handles on the cabinets look better? Since I'm nitpicking..... (:D) I think you should get a mini-blind that matches your wall...

Me too again. A-1, Baco Bits, and a little butter on a baked potato is good stuff. Maybe a bit of cheese? Yum. The cheetos/PB&J sounds pretty good.

    Best projector for around $1,000?

I've heard the IN72 is the "new" version of the 4805. I was in the same situation as you not too long ago. Searching & searching for a entry-level projector. HD wasn't a concern. I went with a Optoma H27 and am very happy with it. (edit: They say the H27 & the IN72 were very close in...

    Stupid Question, kinda "corn"y

50% on topic. : ) I love corn & when not in season I would buy canned corn. Every time I ate at my mothers I always noticed how much better her corn tasted. Crisper & more "fresh" tasting. So I ask her & turns out she uses frozen corn, not canned. This may be common knowledge, but...
