I have a toshiba DVD dual disk with a decoder. I have it hooked up to a sony receiver also with a 5.1 decoder. Can I bypass my receiver and go directly to a 5 channel amp?

Hello fellow MartinLogan lovers!!! I just bought the ML cinema centre, aerius i fronts and scripts rears. I need help now finding the proper receiver or preamp/amp set up. Every one tells me that the ML need Krell amps to run properly. What is everyone using and are they happy with it?
