i actually just setup my xbox as an extender tonight. everything was pretty easy, but my network in completely wireless and the xbox is in the back of the house. so i'm going to have to buy a wireless-g booster. does anyone know of a good inexpensive booster? thanks. - Jason

I think its $700 bucks, which is only one hundred over his proposed budget. I suggested this remote because I felt it better suited his desired needs. I have the harmony 880 and think its a good remote, but the harmony's have some shortfalls.

thanks for the reply. the sony htpc is already pre-configured for raid-0 with the two existings hard drives in it. it has two 160gb 7200rpm hard drives in it. if i want to go ahead and add another hard drive, will i have problems adding one larger than 160gb? as long as it's 7200rpm does...

nope, the xbox won't convert the game... it's the television that does it. i'm learning more about my toshiba through this website... and my tv might actually do the conversion. i haven't palyed a 720p game yet either... but until yesterday i was under the impression that my tv wouldn't convert...
yes the xbox is setup through my HD inputs... which is my component video inputs. i have two sets of component video inputs on this televsion and my dvd player is hooked into one and now my xbox is connected to the other.
