well i tinkered with the input and audio split buttons, and I have my optical set as priority, but nothing has changed. either way, thanks for the suggestion.
So I've just upgraded the firmware and now as I go to SETUP, the text for CENTER and BACK reads NO in a grey font, and I can't select it to say YES. What am I doing wrong?

Mine does the opposite: through S-Video, when the scene is really dark, the signal cuts out or what i refer to it as blinkning. I was thinking it was a combination between my TV and the DA5. Now I have the s-videos running through a module and that seems to have solved the problem. Hopefully I...

I've tried doing it the way the manual says, but to no avail. I tried setting it through the surround set up screen, but all I see for options is Pro Logic, Pro Logic II, and DTS neo:6. How does one get it to apply DPII music? I'm curious to hear how it sounds.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks...
Shigeru Miyamoto just reiterrated that Zedla will be playable at E3 this May and should be ready for everyone to play by the end of this year.
Mario, Metroid, Eternal Darkness, Star Fox Adventures and Zelda all in the same year? Looks like Nintendo is pulling out the guns.

It's been said that in S of E that you can grab an object that resembles a GameCube (a pruple cube with a black handlle) and beat people up with it.
I saw this game at E3 last year, although the character models looked very primitive, there were a ton of them on screen, so i guess that was why...
Just last month I learned about OADE.com and saved a fortune going through them rather than Good Guys. So I was wondering if anyone knew of a site where I can get a TV for a good price.
Thanks.
wher can i find more about these types of specs on recievers, mainly Sony's DA5es model.
I was at Cambridge Soundworks today and the guy said that this year's models all should have it. But I don't what to just take his word for it.
Byran,
Are your using S-Video through the unit?
If not test it: s-video dvd through the reciever and a s-video from the monitor out to the TV. I've found that the unit has been somewhat glitch(y) with this process.
GameCube is where it's at for me these days. Although it been a dry 2002 so far, Waverace and Madden have been keepig me busy. Not to mention Pikmin and Super Samsh Bros. Plus there's a crop of titles I won't need to mention due to the most comprehensive essay written on the subject just ten...
I think the GameCube is as good of a system as any to put out the RE series. Think about it, the Nintendo system has less "mature" games, so all those types of titles have a chance of selling pretty well. Less competition. It worked for Goldeneye.
As far as surround sound goes, if you're on...
Best console from back in the day goes to SNES. Remember the first time you played Street Fighter 2 for that console? It was like the first time, IMO, that an arcade game was converted perfectly into a cartidge.
As for the consoles of today my pick goes to GameCube only becuase it had a good...
I think we assume too much. There was hardly a minute of Zelda footage, and yes it was completely opposite of our expectations, we have no right to really dismiss the game until we see more at E3 or better yet till we play it.
HEY NEIL,
you got all the medals on Rogue? I'll buy a pre-loaded memory card off you.
No joke. I suck at the game, can't even beat the final stage were you have to escape from the death star.
What do you say?
Should I mail you a check for the memory card?

1. Legend of Zelda: OOT (N64)
2. Super Mario Bros. (NES)
3. Street Fighter 2 (all)
4. Super Metriod (SNES)
5. Perfect Dark (N64)
6. Resident Evil 2 (multi platform)
7. Wave Race:Blue Storm (GCN)
8. Pac Man (Atari)
9. Gran Turismo (PSX)
10. Mario Kart 64 (N64)

DVD players and video game machines don't mix very well. Playstation 2 is decent back-up DVD player at best. I hear the Fugazi DVD won't play on PS2 becuase it can't read DVD9s, of which the DVD is.
Donald,
That didn't seem to work, perhaps my Triniton reacts differently than your friend's TV.
What model TV does he have?
I suggest to your friend that he play a black and white dvd while the DA5es is configured through S-Videos. I've noticed this problem happens EVERYTIME a chapter...
The Nintendo brand is probably the most reliable until Monster puts out a version...which I hear is on the horizon. I had an interact one for my Super NES and N64 and it's just as good, too.
Donal Shrum,
What did your friend do?
And just for the record: I think the Sony DA5ES sounds really sharp, and other than this one defect which doesn't happen all that often (but always at the same part), I love it. There is zero hiss in the speakers, multi-channel options are great, and the...
