Thanks for the update. I pulled the trigger on one of these too for the bedroom home thester im trying to assemble. Since I havent purchased the satellites yet for that project I hooked it up with my Cambridge model 6's in.the interim. Not bad!! So far. The $ 170 price shipped is a perfect price...
yeah i have since heard that as well. I really just dont understand how such a poor job of mastering could happen. These guys are professionals. I almost want to say its intentional. Some say its a tad better at lower volumes. all this aside. It rocks. I'd like to get ahold of a GHII mix...
Does the real CD sound better than the leaked copies? :crossing fingers: Terrible mastering it seems - sounding loud and distorted. If so, the vinyl release should sound better.
Hmm. I guess I'm wondering why? is it because i'd have to strip off the speaker wire connectors that connect to the module? no prob there. Is it a crossover / frequency issue? reciever should handle that. I understand the whole bose crap issue as well. I'm trying to save my neighbor some...
Hey can you use the cube speakers and go right into a normal av reciever, set the speakers to small, use a normal sub vs. that bose module? or will I at least have to buy a non proprietory bass module for it. does ohm come into play at all? Thanks
I just bought/stole Mad Seasons' ABOVE for $37 shipped :) I like to use this site as a point of reference when purchasing vinyl http://www.popsike.com/php/quicksear...ason&x=24&y=12
I saw KORN at a bar in Toledo, OH. and the only security was the bar owner in front of the stage trying to keep people from the getting too close. and for what it's worth, i saw (and stood right in front of) Travis Meeks and his new Days of the New band, in a small bar, obviously toward the...
I've been a T00L fan for 12 years or so and this one is a masterpiece. Just an incredible album. Granted many don't get it but for me it's their best so far. How exciting for your favorite band to put out such work. And the with depth of that work, it takes lots of enjoying listens to...
Don't ask me how but I managed to get 4 tix for the Detroit show. I just did a screen refresh on ticketmaster at exactly 10:00.00 secs using http://www.time.gov/ but i'm sure it was just luck that got me the tix. It sold out in seconds. The Fox Theater here in Detroit has got to be a great...
Well i've been a QR fan since the 80's. So naturally, I pre-ordered my vinyl LP copy w/ autographed poster from the website 30+ days ago. Webite said all shipments would occur prior to release date. Imagine my frustration and anger when it still hasnt showed up on my doorstep. 24 hrs later...
After nearly 20 years of what some would call one of the best metal albums of all time (at least conceptually), QR is releasing the sequel this april, 04/04/06. Dr. X vocals are being done by Ronnie James DIO. I hear it picks up where Nikki is released from prison with possibly revenge on...
Thanks Dick and John, I understand independant selections of audio and video as this is what everyone (and I) have been doing for years. I was hoping i was missing a simple step with my new reciever ala some kind of audio "override" button. OK, What i don't understand is who would want such...
Guys, I'm new to comp vid switching. Why does it bring the audio signal with it? i.e. Why can't I watch a HD football telecast on my HD STB and listen to a dvd or CD at the sametime? Am i missing something here? Literally, my big screen video feed goes blank when i try to listen to a...
Update: Great show. Rik Emmett did play some Triumph tunes. Good courteous crowd. Rik had an excellent young 2nd lead guitarist. We stood right next to the stage on the side and saw everything close up. He opened with 'Fight the Good Fight'at around 11:00-11:15, then 'Say Goodbye'...
Just curious as i am going to see him in Detroit this Friday. How was it? I've alway enjoyed his guitar work when he was with Triumph but I'm really not counting on him singing any songs from the day since he has amassed many studio albums since. If he does... BONUS! Thanks, Todd
Can I control and learn 2 different 'single' spacer units with my remote control? Or would they be on the same frequency? I have used the spacer for years but now i'm upgrading my HT and dont want to complicate things too much but i do need to have two separate dimmable zones for my recesssed...
