Thank you all for your advice, I'll tell my friend that this sub will give him good performance for that price. I myself have an SVS 16-46PC, so I am unfamiliar with subwoofers in that class. I was just wondering if the JBL PB10 was a better performer and thus a better deal for just a tad more $...
A friend of mine is eyeing a Polk PSW-350 at a local store for $169 and has asked my advice. Anybody have any experience with this model and will give an opinion or a recommendation for another sub at around this price? Thanks
Was this the dealer in Coral Gables, or the one in Ft. Lauderdale? I kind of know how you feel. Although I was never treated rudely by my Paradigm dealer, I felt they offered no "service" for the high prices they demanded. Paradigm should hear about what happened to you. I'll stop here...
There are lots of people here equating COMPETITION with COMMUNISM. That's just plain IGNORANCE on their part. DEALER competition for business IS part of capitalism. Fixing prices (Paradigms probably does not do) and limiting distribution to help dealers (Paradigm DOES do) is communism. How do...

I think price control has a lot to do with it. Have you noticed that most of the authorized dealers usually quote the same prices? Maybe the discount retailers try to haggle for cheaper prices from their distributers who in turn try to do the same to Denon? Or maybe they dump warranty-less...
NO, YOU FOOLS!!!!!
Chris, don't listen to any of these people!
No wonder you don't hear a difference on your DVD's, you're probably using optical interconnects. Use coax! EVERYBODY knows optical sounds like crap!
I believe this is a mistake, an 'orphan' page for a product you can't order :frowning: (at least now) for several reasons:
1. If you browse the TV's, this model is not there.
2. There is no "check availability" link on the product page.
3. When I try to checkout, I get a javascrip error...
I suppose I could measure the its resistance, but then again, who knows what that should be?
I keep reading here that you should get 12ga, since I suppose that would be rough estimate of the desired resistance.
