Got the same from DMA support today ('since Disney Movies Anywhere is no longer in operation...'). Since I redeemed on Vudu, I've opened a support ticket there. We'll see what happens.
Not impressed with Movies Anywhere, or Sony. Spider-Man Homecoming ported across at 4k, but CE3K did not...
IMHO, they should have pulled the plug on SG1 after season 8. I was a big fan (and have seasons 1-8) but that stupid Ori storyline did the show in. But I was expecting the show to tank eventually once SciFi started signing the checks.
I thought the T-1000 reveal was a bit soon. They should have strung that out for a couple weeks at least. But this is typical of the dumbed-down and desperate writing we have now...hurry up and hook 'em. After all it is Fox...
We should hope episode 7 ends with a cliffhanger, as supposedly two versions of the 'last' season 2 episode were filmed, and which one will show depends on if there is going to be a season 3 or not....
A Piece of the Action ???? I don't know what they could edit out that I wouldn't miss... "I would advise ya's to keep dialing, Oxmyx." I for one am still jonesing over The Doomsday Machine. :) :) :) ...well except for some missing dialog...:frowning:
ER has weathered its cast changes rather well as they have stuck to the same format for the most part. Las Vegas started losing me big time this year when they started making the show too serious. If I want a serious show in Las Vegas, there's some show I can't think of on another network on...
I was thinking this also about fifteen minutes into the episode, although I don't know about the 'contented smile' part :) Maybe they could bring back Charlotte Ross for one more scene...mmmmmm
Not having known beforehand, we guessed at it last night (who would go) and made the politically correct choice...kill the white guy! I was not impressed with the episode, but to be fair it's probably because I'm tired of David (damn I'm a fine ACTor) Caruso, and the creeepy coroner...
Just so the 'central computer' doesn't run on a micro$oft operating system... "Thousands stranded over Tampa today as the Tampa Traffic Computer crashed after yet another software patch. Bill Gates could not be reached for comment."
You could try Norton or one of the other uninstall programs floating around...look at downloads.com (at CNET). Sounds like your PC doesn't have something the game wants, or the installation is conflicting with some hardware or software you have... Good luck.
Not even by Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle?? Perhaps I am confusing 'offended' with 'insult to my intelligence (what little there is to insult)' I made it through about ten minutes of this (got all the way to the 'you can't touch this' part), then had to either: 1)Turn the channel with...
The "self-repairing" camoflauge in "Die Another Day" for another example. I really hate the 'infinite resolution' digital cameras in movies... Zoom in on that. (Zooms in, picture becomes all pixellated) Can you clean that up? (Computer magically reconstructs perfect picture) Be sure to...
Larry, I think Tea Leone is a fine actress, if she's playing Tea Leone. ymmv. Kinda like George Clooney, I like him, but I would say he pretty much plays George Clooney in all his films. Not unlike another mildly successful actor, John Wayne :) Remember, my opinion is the only one that counts :D
I love the diversity of opinion we have on these forums, it's rather refreshing as we hurtle towards the uncertain future. And I notice most of the disagreements have been civil for once, without resorting to personal attacks. But since my opinion is the only one worth mentioning :) I...
Man, I've been watching this week (lack of sleep) and this show (imho) has been ON this week. Monday "Would you like to pretend you're in an earthquake" and "Alan Kalter's People Who Can Kiss My Ass", as well as "Stupid Human Tricks" were hilarious. Tuesday with the Olsen ex-twins, and...
That kind of ruined the episode for me as well. Liked the finale for TNG, but it was a sad occaision, as we were seriously hooked on the show and it was like "no more new episodes?" I didn't think the finale for Voyager was that bad (compared to some/most of the 'regular' episodes)...
The sweetest thing about the train wreck (in the train wreck of a show) was how it fizzled out once it finally caught that train!! And curved, kinda like them twisters in that "Night of the Twisters" tv movie...it followed them down alleys and that.
??? What, trying to act like Don Johnson is 'acting'?? ymmv, but at least CSI (Vegas) is about several characters (played by people who can, in fact, 'act'). They should rename this the "H" factor. How many times each week are we treated to Caruso... Takes off sunglasses Cocks head to...
The worst part of the 'train' scene was the baaaaaaaad fx and the length of the scene. If I had such a crappy shot, I would use it quite sparingly. I was going to make some comment about there being other bad things that would happen in SF besides the bridge, which I don't know would quite...
"Threads" and "Testament" . . . . brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Nice thing about Testament was there were no gratuitous mushroom cloud shots, just a sad, disturbing, depressing film. But "Threads" . . . . rrrrrrrrrrrrrr :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning:
Didn't we have a lot of those on Star Trek? Like the one where the transporter was hosed ("The Enemy Within") and the men on the planet were freezing to death, you're thinking "What happened to all the Shuttlecraft??" Kinda liked the episode, even though you knew Lauren's 'change of heart'...
