Whether you've seen Frailty already (good for you!) or not (what the heck are you waiting for?!?), TheManRoom has a neat contest currently running for 2 copies of Frailty on DVD, signed by Bill Paxton. Click the link below for details and to enter. Good luck...
Now that Rare has been purchased by Microsoft, the door is wide open for Conker to return. Add your name to the petition if you'd like to see Conker 2:

The TMR home theater video basics article has been updated by Chris again, this time focusing on Rear Projection TV's. Here's the link:

Yep, by hand (in my book) is the only way to go :)
The tools will do it faster for you but I've always felt I had more control by hand. Here's my current "project", done entirely in homesite, line by line:

Thanks, you should share a screenshot with the board - I promise I won't rip off the design :) That's been the hardest part for me actually, determining a fine line between a cool looking site that is functional and a cool looking site that is slow with too many graphics (coughIGNcough). I...
Romier - treading a little but feedback is key to a successful site. I haven't ramped up yet and began seeking reviewers (most of the emphasis to-date has been placed on the home theater area), but you can get an idea of the basic concept here...
DOA has potential, no doubt about that...but I'll give beach spikers a try first. If its lame, off to ebay it goes. Early word is that it plays similar to sega tennis which is definitely a plus.
I plan on purchasing this launch day (if it sucks, I'll just resell) - the concept is too fun to resist :)
I'll try to get an unbiased review up shortly thereafter at TMR.
Thanks Marshall, I like your idea! It's been added to the official (and growing) "to do" list :)
It's funny you mention colors and contrast. I've actually started to grow tired of the "greys" and am toying with adding a color scheme. The logo is temp as well.
All, I'm still tweaking and testing a new DVD Review format at TMR and wanted your opinions on the information available in the review and the "add your own review" option. Good, bad, I can handle it...and am willing to change it if good suggestions come forth. Here's a link to a new release DVD...
Thought I'd chime in on this one:
I've got pics up at my website of my home theater, complete with a load of star wars figures all around it. Click the link in my signature and look in the gallery for Bac's ManRoom. Enjoy!
I don't necessarily agree with these choices...though the #1 selection is hard to argue! Judge for yourself:

I actually had a ticket held for me and couldn't get the time off work! Grrrrr
Anyways, a good "fans perspective" of the fight and pics of familiar faces from the crowd that I thought I'd share for the after hours crowd (gotta love twins :)

I just added a new DIY article from a fellow htf member to a new area of TheManRoom.com - the DIY Series. It's a sonosub, of course :) Just click the link in my signature and enjoy.
I keep the grilles off because a) the PSB Image speakers look cool with them off and b) I dont have a large dog that might accidentally slam its rear into one of them :)
I tend to enjoy the deleted scenes, but beyond that I don't have much interest. Maybe if I didnt have a full-time job and had time to kill then I'd delve into some of that crap, but as it stands I fight for the time just to watch the movie!
Flash Gordon is one of my all-time favorite cheesy movies. Believe it or not, I have it at number 10 on my top movie list right now. A special edition, I would think, should be a no-brainer.
Find a real estate agent you can trust whom has worked with the builders your are considering. The agent will work in your best interests, and their commission is typically already built into the price of the home.
