A DATE WITH JUDY arrives on DVD 11/6 from WARNER

Heads up for movie musical fans: I got an email from a friend this morning who had just pre-ordered A DATE WITH JUDY from Deep Discount. It's not rumor, it's fact. 11/6 street date. This must be some kind of exclusive because I also checked DD's sister-company Critic's Choice, and they...

Amazing Bargain At Amazon-that's Entertainment Boxed Set For $20!

Just heard from a friend that Amazon is having some great prices right now on a lot of boxed sets, and my favorite release from last year, Warner's THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT four disc DVD set (the trilogy of films and the bonus disc) on sale for a mere $20! I don't know if Amazon made a mistake on...

Is OUTRAGEOUS FORTUNE 16x9 or 4x3 LBX?

Does anyone have the stats on this release. I see it listed as "widescreen", but I fear, since it's an old disc, and it's Disney, that it may be 4x3 matted, in which case I'll skip the purchase. Any answers would be deeply appreciated. Thanks!

LOVE ME OR LEAVE ME- An unappreciated gem!

In its day, it was a huge box-office hit.... It won an Oscar for best original screenplay... It earned several Oscar nominations, including James Cagney for BEST ACTOR (he should have won over Ernest Borgnine in MARTY (snooze!) )...and should have earned a Best Actress nod for Miss Doris...

Free Warner DVD of Oscar-Winning Shorts at Barnes & Noble

Haven't seen much press about this, and I don't think there has been anything posted elsewhere here, so I thought I'd bring this to the attention of HTF members: Warner has put together a DVD containing several Oscar-winning short subjects from their library that have not yet otherwise been...
