wow.. looks like K-State's got you under a pretty tight reign over there!?!? ;)
I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow - I can't wait to see what it looks like! :)
I recently read a thread from someone who had the 90BK (w/ DVD-Audio) and had the same problems. He finally got someone at JVC to admit to the problem. Someone at JVC actually called him back and asked him to ship the unit to them for an upgrade.
I don't think he has it back yet so I'm not...
My wife and I purchased a Mitsubishi WS 55857. It was sitting side by side with the Sony, and the 55807.
Here's how we narrowed it down. The Sony looked very out of focus and the edges of everything were a bit soft. Given that it was a retail store, it could have been just horrible...

For the first week or so I thought everyone on the screen looked a bit elongated. But after that and to...
Wow - you should be lucky they offer HD channels there! I live in San Diego, California and have Time Warner digital cable, and we don't have any HD broadcasts. I sent TW an email and asked when I would be able to fully enjoy my new TV w/ HDTV programming.
Their response was fairly...
AVIA is a DVD used to calibrate your television and audio. I used AVIA to calibrate my Mitsu WS 55857, and it made quite a difference. I had the TV for about a month or two before I calibrated and I had noticed that it didn't look quite right. The people who delivered the TV had adjusted the...
