It seems that way here in the metro DC area on WETA and Maryland Public TV (MPT). It is getting to the point where watching PBS is getting painful. What I really hate about TV pledge drives is the garbage they air. Where they should be putting the spotlight on their regular programming they...
I'm not going to lie, it was tough watching these two episodes but the ending was satisfying. While watching it I was wondering if the writers were going to paint themselves into a corner but the resolution was true to all the characters and how they developed. NBC, thanks for keeping this show...
While watching tonight's NBC Nightly News, I found out that "Downton Abbey" is co-produced by an NBC affiliate. Interesting cross promotion the Friday before the season 2 premier.
Even though this show is silly and the plots are pretty outlandish, I like it because I like the characters. These are people I'd like to meet and interact with. I actually look forward to Monday nights.
I was wondering how Anna Paquin could say "You killed my fairy godmother" with such a straight face. What I'm liking about his show is how the actors take such silliness so seriously. Fun stuffl
I caught one of the back to marathon showings on HBO last weekend to see what all the fuss was about. Once I watched an episode it couldn't stop watching. I'm hooked. Now that "Game of Thrones" is done I have something else to watch on Sunday nights.
Ditto. One has to be very careful to make absolute statements on this forum. One thing about Bean is that he plays either bad guys or conflicted good guys. I don't think I've ever seen him as just a nice good guy. For me, he was one of the best things about "Troy" and made me wish that the...
A limited mini-series would hopefully keep the writers focused and tighten the story rather than dragging it out to fill a full season. Plus, a proper conclusion would help boost DVD sales.
Has it ever been established what Beckett's rank is? She is clearly first amongst equals in that she tell Ryan and Esposito what to do but they never call her sergeant or lieutenant.
I agree. It seemed the most focused episode this season and the threads had a chance to play out. I do agree about boarding the ship. Heck, they must have access to some really fast planes and airline connections. How they got to Murmansk from France is amazing, especially considering how...
Good to know we got the entire episode but it was difficult to watch with all the commercials. With the sloppy inserts, I really did think that material was getting cut. That said, I did like the episode and wish that FIOS would have the BBC America HD feed.
I liked how BBC America showed the premier episode with "limited commercial interruption". I can only imagine how unwatchable it would have been with full commercial interruption. Anyone know how much was cut for U.S. airing?
Well, the clock may be counting down on this show. From the weekly chat with the Washington Post's TV columnist: Q. Fox doubled-up episodes of Human Target the past few weeks. Was this simply to get it out of American Idol's way, or are they burning the episodes because they're cancelling...
I finally caught up using Hulu. I agree about the sucky ass new theme but I do like the show over all. It did seem a bit like reboot. Now to ensure that I have DVR to set to record it.
