Having it in-hand, Laverne & Shirley is indeed just the first 13 episodes and does not have the remaining 8 with Fonzie. Kind of a bummer because based on the initial cover art with Fonz and Mr. Cool it looks like they had intended to include those episodes. A simple Photoshop resize and layer...
My wife and I started in January 2015 and have gone through spurts of watching dozens of episodes per week followed by dry spells where we don't watch it for months. This year we have watched very little, mostly because the storyline we're on is one of the weaker ones, and seemingly endless. (we...
When I played the Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman board game with Tom and Mary Hartman last year, I asked Greg Mulavey about some of the storylines of Forever Fernwood because I haven’t been able to see a single episode. He mentioned one plot line that involved him making a big Mary Hartman doll...
My wife and I started about 4 years ago and are 830 episodes in. Sometimes we will watch a whole bunch and other times we go months without watching any.
The current storyline we are in isn’t the greatest (Count Petofi) but we’ll keep watching through the end. About 400 more to go. I’d love to...
Wouldn't the removal of special features and change in the episode-per-disc configuration require the menus to be changed? That makes me think that these are mere reconfigurations of the previous releases rather than reprints. Also, I don't recall for sure, but I thought some of these releases...
I liked Hall a lot and initially preferred him over Karlen.
BTW, my wife and I started watching in January 2015. Currently at episode 683. Just over halfway, nearly 2 1/2 years in. Sometimes we go weeks or even months without watching, and sometimes we'll watch 20 or more in a week's time...
I wonder what impact this will have on our beloved Warner Archive releases.
It would be terrible if this was a Simpsons-like situation where DVD/blu-ray releases were deliberately stopped in order to drive people to the online portal.
Ideally, this service and WAC would complement one another...
Is that actually on there as a special feature? This review doesn't indicate it: http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/71795/love-boat-season-three-volume-two-the/
this one does:
https://dvdcorner.net/2017/01/18/the-love-boat-season-3-volume-2-dvd-review/
Is it mentioned on the back cover?
Thanks! I'll modify the list and repost it at some point (especially if others have other comments).
I guess I included Rubik because it was part of the Pac-Man/Rubik hour. Also, I don't recall why some Ruby Spears shows have been released under the WA HB banner, like Chuck Norris, Mr. T, The...
It's been a while since I last posted the list of 'what's left' so I thought I'd update it, removing titles that have since been released. Hopefully 2017 will take a few more titles off this list.
-Ruff and Reddy (3 seasons)
-Huckleberry Hound (seasons 2-4)
-Quick Draw McGraw (3 seasons)
-Wally...
Should be one of these:
-Ruff and Reddy (3 seasons)
-Huckleberry Hound (seasons 2-4)
-Quick Draw McGraw (3 seasons)
-Wally Gator/Touche Turtle/Lippy the Lion
-Peter Potamus
-Banana Splits (2 seasons)
I saw it the other day. I had a free ticket from Atom Tickets so I wanted to use it on the most expensive ticket possible, which is 4DX in Times Square. (Aside 1: not trying to plug Atom at all, it's a new app that competes with Fandango and only works with certain chains. I only used it for the...
They do, but like everyone else here, they don't know when your birthday is, or that a random number you throw out happens to be the number of days until your birthday and that you'll be purchasing, receiving and/or watching The New Adventures of Huckleberry Finn on that day.
I've never seen...
I have a binder with episode guides of shows I own, and mark which episodes I watch (always in order). Recently I switched to an app that lets me easily track what I watch - it already has every show in it, so it's easy to keep track of where I'm at in a show.
Then I also have a zip-up CD holder...
I think this is all of the pre-Cartoon Network series that haven't been released. Am I missing something?
-Ruff and Reddy (3 seasons)
-Huckleberry Hound (seasons 2-4)
-Quick Draw McGraw (3 seasons)
-Wally Gator/Touche Turtle/Lippy the Lion
-Peter Potamus
-Sinbad Jr.
-Abott & Costello
-Banana...
I would not be surprised if they'll be re-released as MOD titles through the Archive at some point, much like they've been re-releasing OOP features lately.
I took a look at the wikipedia list of Hanna Barbera productions, and I'm amazed at just how much has been released on DVD so far. For...
Is this new Specials collection single-disc though? The WB store lists a running time of 256 minutes. I figured they'd all be half hour specials, but I must be wrong. I could only find the running time for Last of the Curlews (60 min, so probably 50 min actual). Anyone know? Are these all...
There are indeed some great guest stars, many of which I wasn't expecting. Michael Keaton, Sid Haig, Harry Dean Stanton, Elsie Downey, Howard Hesseman, Ed Begley Jr, James Cromwell, etc...
Not all of the Mary story lines interest me that much - it's hit and miss. I think the Haggers are more...
I am at around 228 or 229. I got the set in November but didn't start watching until late December.
I agree about the screaming - it grinds on the nerves, and Mary isn't exactly my favorite character on the show (though she's terrific at times). Which is why I imagine I'd enjoy Forever Fernwood...
