Hey Mike, I'm really glad and Della even said you're an ok guy! Allow me to share something with you, and with the rest of the posters. Saurav...listen to this!
I said to myself...Saurav was kind enough to give me a couple of links...so let's check them out. so i did..i went to jitter.de and...
and ummm Jerry, the quote I tossed in has far far more to do with how I perceive 'high end' and even 'lo end' audio salons as well as those who manufacture products of dubious or even fraudulent quality (not just audio) treat people. In this case we are the dogs. I may not see eye to eye with...
geez Mike...I was only joshing with you! Now what I want to hear is where is the guy who started this thread. I think its time for the Real Slim Shady to step up!

will give you a look that says, 'My God, you're right!
I never would've thought of that!'"

just curious, but did Kuhn have any different thoughts on science as he was dying of cancer? oh well, I guess he just paradigm shifted into another dimension

always good to keep the mind open...but IMHO, never has so much been promised by so many charlatans for credit card number and expiration date. i'll leave jitter to to the mnaufacturers to sort out.
now where are those episodes of the "outer limits"?

Saurev: NMR=nuclear magnetic resonance...for information just do a google search and i'm sure you'll find a site that explains it satisfactorily. And yes I was adressing aluminum in this case and you'd need a superconducting magnet to cause any noticeable effect. Anything commercially...
Saurev: it can't align any charge on the Aluminum cause there isn't any. Atoms do what is called precess. Magnetic nuclei, due to restrictions described by quantum mechanics, do not align exactly parallel to or against the external magnetic field but rather, they align at an angle.
To do...
Well Mike I guess that's one good reason for ebay, huh?
regarding the scope traces that were on earlier...how could you tell the clock was somehow putting something into the circuit? and if it was, did you determine the magnitude and regularity of the additional signal...
myself i was...
Mike...I've no idea if you're an artist or an engineer but I'm sure you're doing your job. Best job I ever had was being with my children as they grew up and I'd take that in a heartbeat over anything else. Oh and I'm trying to be the 200th post in this thread. I want to win something for a...
Morning all...hell i had no doubt Mike knew why bumblebees flew, now the real question that remains to be answered is how does sh** fly? My own hypothesis is that there are tiny invisible flies carrying it around :)
Mike, I've a question, and please don't take it as anything like an attack...
john sutherlin: ummmmm, so what do you think about the patent office dismissing claims for devices that are supposed to generate more energy than they consume?
Oliver: I'm sure if you can get a european model of that clock that works on your circuitry, it will keep time very well.
Mark: ummm what did you find...i thought Paul Drake came by with a subpoena for that information. Don't make me send Della now...she's going through the change and is one...
Lee: lol...now wouldn't you like that! actually i've got something along those lines in the works...about another week or two. btw, what line is the clock on compared to the scope, same or different?
Mike: damn Mike! yeah consumers should take some responsibility but its easy for people to...
Saurev: of course my statements had nothing to do with the country happening to be India. I just found it sad that from a country from which came such notable scientists such as CV Raman who laid the groundwork for Raman spectroscopy, further advances may have a potential cloud cast as a result...
Mike Knapp: Hey good to see you! And no, you really didn’t have to tell me but hey I don’t mind. The one thing I do admire about you Mike is that you come out and direct your comments to an individual and don’t hide behind veiled comments. You’re quite right that not only do I believe that...
Astrology...that's pretty funny stuff and sad also when you see that India, is mandating that degree programs in the universities now include astrology. Amazing for a country that has had such a notable impact in mathematics and science that it now must be looked upon as promoting quackery.
well, we can at least reason that with the neoprene rings there might be an effect upon the drivers. whether that's desireable or not who knows? Its a funny thing how the advertising seeks to make you feel that somehow your system, despite what you've spent and the care you've taken in...
a hoax regardless of whether its 18 bucks or a 100 times the amount is simply that. for those who've been in the electronics industry you should know better for those who haven't use your common sense. tice, who operates out of jupiter, fl. takes advantage of using scientific words without a...
actually i use a digital clock that I obtained from Lourdes...it most definitely makes spirituals and all those gospel pieces that I order at 3 am sound infinitely more open and gives it that je ne sais quoi...regarding the radio shack model, do you feel that it being made in china plays any...
Ron...I seem to recall doing that however unless I stick seti in my startup it doesn't run and I know it's something i've done along the way with the pc...probably a norton windoctor that canned something it shouldn't have...i've tried uninstalling then reinstalling...uninstalling and searching...
used to be that seti 3.03 would load and there'd be the icon in the system tray...i'm not running screensaver...now if i boot up, no more seti icon...have to start it manually or put it in my startup folder but it won't run minimized automatically unless I manually do it..any ideas?
