Jackie Brown on Laserdisc But Not DVD?

It has. It has had a release in most of Europe - UK, France, Belgium, Holland, etc. - but those are the flippers. You will need to be able to play PAL stuff and have your DVD player equipped to play Region 2 or Region 4 but it has had an Australian release all on one side! Not seen the film...

A PG13 rated movie in a white keepcase...thats something new!

Parents should read the packaging properly... I don't like censorship. I don't think the colour of the case should matter one bit, but I prefer black amarays. Most people will have seen the film if they just take a quick look at the packaging. C'mon, it's not hard!

    WARNING about Christiane F. DVD

Oh yeah. 1.66:1 may be the OAR. The transfer is actually pretty good. It's non-anamorphic, has minimal extras. The extras are just a card gallery and production notes, but they aren't bad. Get it if you can.

    WARNING about Christiane F. DVD

There is a solution... if you have the right equipment and are prepared to accept a non-OAR DVD. Get the UK R2 release by Second Sight. The OAR of this film as I understand it is 1.85:1. The Christiane F. DVD looks like 1.66:1, and it isn't anamorphic. It has the German original language...
