Have about $500 need to pick a DVD player - Help!

I have a Toshiba 34HF81 and an Onkyo receiver. I was thinking about getting the Panny RP-91, as i've heard great things about it. That was about 6 months ago though, is it still considered a good player? I'm now hearing about the RP-82 which supports DVD-A and SACD, which i know NOTHING about...

Speaker question - Have about $1200

What do you mean by feedback? I prefer how the speakers perform for DVD's rather music, if that's what you mean.

Speaker question - Have about $1200

I have narrowed my choices to Def Tech's ProCinema 100 system and B&W's DM303 series (including LCR3 center and ASW500 sub). I am mainly interested in this for movie watching purposes (room is about 20'x12') and not so much for music (although that wouldn't hurt). I have heard both myself and...

RP91 the best match for at Toshiba 34hf81?

Trying to pick a DVD player to compliment my new 34hf81 and been hearing good things about the Panasonic RP91. Is this a good match for my TV considering the price? Is there something better? Thanks.

Best 34-36" TV for around $1000?

I'm looking to buy a new TV again and was wondering what was the best thing out there for around $1000? I am completely clueless as to what is latest and greatest right now. It isn't for anything special, just DVD's, Satelite TV, etc. Thanks in advance.

    Best TV for around $2000?

Frogive my ignorance, but what are 480i, 480p, and 1080i? Also, i could have sworn reading that the XBR400 did the 16:9 squeeze. ------------------

Newbie needs help choosing a TV please!!

Gotcha. But i don't have to keep the DVD i currently have. I basically want to know if it's worth getting a better DVD player if i'm going to spend $2000 on a TV, or if the DVP-360 is good enough. Are there any other recommendations for a TV or DVD player?

Newbie needs help choosing a TV please!!

Ok i currently have a Sony DVP-S360 (it is almost brand new so i can still return it if need be). I am now looking for a good TV to go with it, but i have some questions: 1. I have heard very good things about the 36XBR400 but is that overkill for the DVD player i have? 2. Will i be able to...
