Problem. Video 3 is Playstation and Video 4 is PS2....I only want video out going to the other Video as I use it to redirect the cable. No probs.

I have #1 VCR hooked into Video 1 in and out. My cable TV hooked to video 2 in and another video recorder hooked to video 2 out. Nothing is coming through video 2 out. Any help would be great.

A little confused...... On the Onkyo 696, is Video 1 and Video 2 out always enabled. I get a signal from Video 1 out but nothing from Video 2 out...... I tried swapping ans still nothing from Video 2 out. Any thoughts? Love the receiver!

Oh I feel very inadequate......... Maybe when I have room :).

Maybe I am blind but it is a flat screen 68cm Panasonic Tau.

Is component on the PS2 much better for games as well? I have it hooked up via Svideo.

Funny how when I use the PS2 for DVDs there is no clicking..... Weird.

The 696 definitely uses the "lite" or non-adjustable mode.

I was shocked! I watched a DVD on my PS2 for the first time and was very impressed with the sound and the picture, but what really amazed me was the layer change. It was about the same pause as my Pioneer 535, but on my Pioneer it basically causes my Onkyo 696 receiver to change AUDIO settings...

I am also from AUSTRALIA! I purchased a Onkyo 696 for $1470. The price I had on the 595 was $950! So shop around. Love the 696 big time.

The 696 is an excellent choice. Heaps of bass, power and features. I couldn't live without Composite --> Svideo morphing! My Dreamcast and PSX are all Svideo, but my video and cable is composite. Now they all connect to my TV via Svideo. Top stuff!

You can also set the DPLII mode using the main dial...the first time through the setting it is say movie, then music, movie, music and so on....confused? Try it. The remote is easier. You sure TV logic is Pro-Logic 1??? I have the 696.
