How do I get into the service menu?

Cany anybody provide a site , some info on how to enter the service menu and how to eliminate "red push". Is there a general list of tweaks witch can be performed, anything documented. I did a google search but nothing good came up.

I'm interested in finding out peoples opinions from a before/after comparison. Was there a significant difference after performing the electrostatic and mechanical focus? How mutch of a difference, is it something noticeable? How would you discribe it, the difference that it made?
