Koontz' new release, the Face, made for an entertaining evening, don't expect a lot from it however. Most anything by Steve Alten: Meg, the Trench (More plausible shark thrillers than the Jaws series), Dominion, Goliath...great stuff in the same type of vein (somewhat) of Michael Crichton...
Josh, Kevin, I have to agree with you guys as well. I can't help but feel this thread should have been closed immediately upon someone making any remark other than the fact that he fell off, or remarks about the stability/quality of the Segways. Feels a bit biased to me as well.
I've grown to use my 17" PowerBook almost exclusively. Course, depending on your needs, a Mac may not be adequate. In real life useage tho', the 17" LCD, SEEMS about the same size as my 19" CRT. (I know this isn't true, but like I said, it SEEMS the same.) Just a thought for you. Ciao
In light of a recent discussion with an admin, I don't think this needs to be discussed on the HTF. Thanks for the response btw, but I feel it's best to avoid a potential issue.
Have to admit, I farking HATE reality TV ('cept for Animal Precinct), but I enjoyed this one a lot. Maybe it's a bit of rehashing the stars I grew up with, or maybe it's the chance to see WHO they really are, (more or less). Overall, I thought it was sort of funny, but to be honest, I really...
Well, this isn't a stock job, and I'm aware of a lot of the arguments against newer prs'. But this is a done deal, and thanks for the advice, but trust me, for this guitar, it's worth it. B
Here's the deal...I need this Paul Reed Smith I've found. To this effect, I've got every DVD I own for sale. Follow the link to my profiler collection, it's up to date and lists everything I've got. The price is for them all, they're all in perfect/near perfect condition. I'd like to get 2300.00...
I felt this was one of the better episodes this season, had a weird sort of edge to it, like a precursor to something really bad coming soon. This show to me felt like it was just to make people uneasy about the upcoming shows. And as far as I'm concerned, it worked.
Ummm, not sure if it's at all appropriate to plug myself here, but computers, networks and databases/point of sale software for small, startups is what my business caters to. If you need help with anything, let me know.
(and also, there's not much more rewarding than working for yourself, if...
hmph...I remember the days of Lynx, and dialing into BBS's, and no pictures, no pretty markup languages, and email addresses like 12krhd932@#4ks0)@compuserve, and tape drive backups, (cassettes, not 'tapes'), and 750k was enough for everyone, when 9600 was SHWEET!!! hmph. (rant over, return to...
Why don't you take advantage of what's available? The seller insured the package, the onus falls upon you to utilize that insurance. (I'm not flaming anyone, but I don't understand the problem). Maybe the seller did ship a bad product out to you, maybe not. It all comes down to your faith in our...
I saw Tool here in Sept. WOW!!! As far as the asses go, just do like I do, carry one of those 'tasers'. They're fairly cheap, and they DO get people out of your way without them knowing you did it.
Blinker Fluid. Do not, under ANY circumstances, allow your blinker fluid to run low. If you do nothing else, go check your blinker fluid. Go, do it, now.
After some thought, I figure I'd recommend my all time favourite writer, Andrew Vachss with some trepidation. His stuff is generally detective fiction, (Raymond Chander, Lawrence Block, etc) however, it is EXTREMELY hard edged. Vachss is an attorney who ONLY defends children in abuse cases. His...
Yeah Nick, I can't honestly think of anything I'd rather be doing...(other than Angelins Jolie)... It's a very enjoyable job, and since I don't 'relate' well to others (that geek cliche'), I get left alone. AND NO SUITS!!!:D
