dvdtown.com is reporting that they confirmed WB will be using MPEG-2 for all the currently announced titles.

PS3 will be Blu-Ray due to the fact it is a Sony product. Even if Blu-Ray dies as a movie format Sony will have to keep it going because all games for PS3 will be on Blu-Ray discs. XBOX360 will have an add on HD-DVD player coming out around the same time as the PS3 for a rumored $150-$200.

Not sure if it is going to be nationwide or not but the store manager of my local Hollywood Video said they are going to start stocking both HD DVD and Blu Ray next month. Apparently they had some big conference call to try to educate the area managers about the formats.

Check in the papers that came with the tv. I think that Toshiba has an extended warranty they offer directly through them that is not all that pricy considering that repair costs on HD sets can be costly from what I have read.
