I use the cheap Rectocon S-video/Composite switcher for Component switching and its works just fine. Hell, I use Composite Red/White/Yellow as my Component cables on my XBOX and HD receiver. If there is a picture quality difference, I can't notice it.

Call around to different Best Buys. Also check Circuit City. This was at the Best Buy, Northpoint Mall north of Atlanta. I want to say they were marked $199 and they were Silver. But, that doesn't mean that is what they will ring up for. Good Luck!
