Tigerland is arguably the best thing Colin Farrell has done to date. This film got him noticed and offered more roles, but IMHO nothing (including Phone Booth) he's done since shows his abilities like it.

The Duke was in his best element when in a western, and the best of those (IMHO) were The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, The Searchers, and Red River. These films are so good that even mediocre transfers bear watching.

You ought to at least rent it. I did, and bought it the next day. I thought it a stunning production, if a bit frantic. If you have a decent sound system, you'll enjoy the soundtrack for sure. Check it out.
