Another question. When I browsed the software, it said I must have a Windows formatted IPOD. At what point does this occur? Do I have to purchase a Windows IPOD as opposed to an Apple IPOD? Are they two different things? Thanks.
Thanks for the info and links. That should solve my problem. I just didn't want to get an IPOD AND a new operating system all at the same time. I already use EAC to convert my CDs, so with these programs it sounds like I should have no problems. Thanks again.
I apologize in advance if this has been covered before but I could not find any info in my search. I want to get an IPOD so that I can listen to it while working. How the heck do I get the songs on there? Do I have to use Itunes software because I am still running Windows 98 and I don't think...
Not much to say except that my wife and I loved the film. And for Quentin; that birdhouse line was the funniest line of the movie! Some folks were looking at me because they couldn't figure out why I couldn't stop laughing at it. A close second for me was when David Cross said: "The plane...
I saw this one on cable yesterday. I believe it was the first movie I saw with Julia Roberts. Anyway, I found it kind of boring but I liked the fact that it revolved around a Pizza joint since I love Pizza so much.
Circus Peanuts rule! But only if they are Brach's brand: Link Once, I was with a friend at the store and I asked to borrow a couple of dollars. He agreed, and then he found out I was going to buy Circus Peanuts with his money. He then absolutely refused to give me the money because he hated...
I think this thing would be a perfect Christmas gift! For someone to give to me. A little too expensive for me to just buy it without a special occasion.:frowning:
True Ken, but at the Fine Art Forum I did find an article titled: Exploring the nature of electronic space through semiotic morphism Whatever the hell that means!
Long story short; I'm making a compialtion for a friend who live in Columbus, OH and I want all the songs to be either about Ohio or just mention the state or any Ohio city. The more mentions the better. I'm just getting started but of course I plan on including Ohio by Neil Young and...
If you indeed mean "Chuck Berry - Hail! Hail! Rock and Roll" then count me in. It is one of my favorite rock n' roll movies. I still watch my videotape of the widescreen version I taped off of Bravo and I would buy the DVD in a second!
Well, the artwork and liner notes look very much the same quality as the Rhino releases. Very thick booklets. They've got 17 bonus tracks on Trust and 30 tracks on Get Happy!
But, I haven't listened to them yet. I was out of town all weekend without my CD player.
Thanks for the info.
Paul
Well, today I received my 2 disc versions of Elvis Costello's Trust and Get Happy!.
I got them from www.sirendisc.com
They are on Edsel Records imported from the U.K.
WTF is going on? I cannot find any info on Rhino releases of these discs.
Look what I found yesterday:
Still Bill at CD Universe
Menagerie at CD Universe
Supposedly these came out in January but I just found them.
I hope they keep going with some more.
Patrick, I was in your shoes once too. I remember the initial confusion when I saw all the american and UK versions (I introduced myself on the vinyl first). The CDs make it much easier. Although it may not be exactly how it was released originally, here is how the catalog stands today on CD...
I wish I had something substantial to add, but I agree with everyone who says that they are great live. I once saw them perform 3 times within a 48 hour period and I still didn't get tired of them.
Hey you cheese lovin', beer swillin' Inxsessive 80s fanatical home theater backpacking junky! There are still some copies of Rakim's first solo album around that come with a second disc (titled Book Of Life) of Eric B. and Rakim's greatest hits. LINK That was a pretty good compilation...
Well, I read about it here:Music Tap and pre-ordered it from here: CD Universe and it shipped today. I don't think it is released until tomorrow though so we'll wait and see.
War and Maceo Parker at the Cubby Bear in Chicago. It was two separate shows that they combined after not having sold enough tickets to either. Maceo was the best act I've seen for an opener and then War was the best I have ever seen period.
Title: "Who wants to marry Patrick D. Gamet - Home Theater Nut & OAR Activist?" Concept: One hour, Reality. Thousands of women compete to be the one to marry a guy named Pat while he slips in pro-OAR comments thoughout the entire show. In the end they will all find out that not only is Pat...
Allen and TonyD, Royal Crown Draft was the best I ever had too! I found it at Target and stocked up like a madman! I saved it for Friday Nights only (my pizza night) and tried to make it last. I bought as much as I could carry and afford. I told everybody I knew about how great it was. I...
There is an extended soundtrack called "Untitled" on vinyl. I'm not sure if it was ever on CD though. It features all the songs from the "regular" CD soundtrack plus all the songs (I think) from the bonus CD that came with the Untitled DVD that Jason mentioned. You can check out the album...
