I just noticed that The Digital Bits has posted coverart for Father of the Bride: 15th Anniversary Edition and has it scheduled to be released on 5/7. This is one of my favorite movies and I've always wanted to see a re-release, but I had no idea this was coming out. Anyone have any specs?
Chat's over. This post contains all the questions that were asked. Look down a few posts for Robert Crawford's list of the announcements made by WB. I know that Humoresque is coming out in June, are there any other John Garfield films in the pipeline for release and are Spencer Tracy and Clark...
TV Guide's "Ask Ausiello" feature included the following Q&A:
While I'm sure the SRP is not final, the rest of that news is fantastic. I love the show and purchasing it was a no-brainer, but these features make me anticipate it even more. :emoji_thumbsup:
Now that Seinfeld's about to hit DVD, I have only one television show that I still am stuck waiting for. Does anyone know if there's been any word anywhere about seeing the hit NBC sitcom finally on DVD? Please?
I was looking around and couldn't find any reviews on this set. Anyone have a chance to check this out yet? I bought the first set since the price was really good, but was hoping there might be some special features on the newest set.
Posted by Ronald Epstein, co-owner HTF Our thanks to John Simon for keeping a log of the questions asked during the chat. We hope to incorporate this feature in future chats. We have removed this log in favor of just posting a link to the chat transcript itself: Please Click Here...
Seeing that Warners has announced the release of the original Johnny Quest series on DVD, I was wondering if anyone knows of plans to release the newer version of the show. While the few episodes of the original help me understand why people liked it so much, I thought the newer ones were...
Great news! TVShowsOnDVD reports that Paramount is releasing the third seasons of Frasier and Cheers this May, only four months after the second seasons' release. I'm thrilled to see that more and more studios are moving away from the semi-annual release pattern. :emoji_thumbsup:
Hi, I was wondering if anyone out there has any experience with the Daewoo 42" Plasma TV (DP42SM). Best Buy will be selling it extremely cheaply on Black Friday, and the price makes it hard to believe the set can be very good. However, a review I read at Epinions.com gave it high marks (but...
TVShowsOnDVD has word that the 6th season of Friends is scheduled for release on 1/27/04. Too bad all shows can't have a release schedule like this! :emoji_thumbsup: :emoji_thumbsup:
I noticed on Coming Soon that Lion's Gate has purchased Artisan for $160 million. Anyone care to speculate if this will have some effect on Artisan's DVDs? I'm hoping perhaps it could mean that Artisan DVDs no longer require 15 rereleases to get a title right. But then again, maybe Lion's Gate...
I thought it might be worth starting a seperate thread for the second season of Alias. Some of this news is relatively old, but it wasn't mentioned in the other thread so I've posted it here. The press release, as seen on TVShowsOnDVD and a number of Alias sites:
Overstock currently...
I bought the theatrical version of Fellowship of the Ring when it came out, and I'm now debating whether to buy the Theatrical version or the expanded version of Two Towers. But I'd first like to know if anyone's aware of a planned re-release of the DVDS following Return of the King next year. I...
Seriously, Artisan Entertainment has got to be the most money-hungry studio ever. I can't believe they're about to try another triple-dip on a title. Of course, the sadder thing is that I'll probably end up buying it.

I've tried a number of DVD creation programs, but none have ever had all the features I'd like. Right now I'm using Ulead DVD Workshop, but I'd really like to include audio commentaries on a couple discs. I was going to try MedioStream's NeoDVD, but I saw a lot of reviews on CNET indicated the...
Has anyone on the net reviewed the seventh season DVDs of The X-Files yet? I'm looking forward to this, especially since it may be the last season I buy, and it looks like there might be some great commentaries on this set.
I'm trying to design some custom covers so I can move my X-Files seasons into ThinPaks. I just thought I'd post 2 examples of what I've got and see what kind of suggestions I can get. Season 1, Disc 1 Season 4, Disc 3 I used a color highlight on the spine to help differentiate between...
With all the recent talk by fans and critics saying that the current season of Survivor is even better than the first, it got me trying to remember that first season, and wondering if we'd ever see it again. Does anyone know if this is in the works? Or if not, why? Although I have some question...
I know the SE of Predator was released in another region a long time ago, and I've been consistenly avoiding the temptation to buy the current Region 1 version. But I really want to buy this movie. Anyone know of concrete plans to release this in Region 1 anytime in the near future? I sure hope...
Anyone know why this movie has never been released to DVD? I realize most consider it to be a weak sequel, but it's still a very funny movie that I would like to add to my collection. It seems very strange that it's never hit DVD...
I'm not sure how reliable this is, but MI6 Headquarters has posted what they claim to be the specs for the upcoming Die Another Day DVD. While the site seems to be fairly reliable, the list of features is so impressive that I find it a little hard to believe:
I noticed today on Deep Discount DVD that it lists all the Rocky sequels as coming out on March 18, 2003 with SRPs of $14.95. This is the first I've heard of these movies being made available outside of the boxset (not including the OOP editions of Rocky II and IV), and I don't see it listed on...
I'm surprised no one's mentioned this yet, but the Rumor Mill on The Digital Bits is reporting that Frasier and Cheers appear to be coming to DVD sometime this year. We've already heard reports the Frasier is in the near future, so this doesn't come as a complete shock. But getting Cheers on...
I'm not sure how many of you are fans of Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman", but I'd certainly like to see this series released to DVD. I seem to remember DVDFile reporting a couple years ago that a couple eps were scheduled to be released, but nothing ever came of that. Anyone think...
Has anyone heard anything about a possible SE of The Insider? The film got a surprisingly barebones release considering the critical and popular success that it garnered while in theaters. I think it was IGN that posted a wishful list of features for an SE about a year ago, and I've been hoping...
Hey, all. I was re-reading one of the reviews of the BTTF DVDs today, and I realized it's less than 2 weeks to arguably the second-most awaited franchise to hit DVD. And since we all know why Star Wars isn't out yet, the release of BTTF really represents the end of the unexplicable abscences of...
I just saw this on TVShowsOnDVD.com:
While this is good to hear, I really would've preferred Cheers before Frasier. Oh well... Any TV on DVD is good news!
The subject says it all. Does anyone know why this Harrison Ford movie has never hit DVD? I really think it's one of Ford's best performances, and it's a darn good movie as well. And yet I just realized it's never been released, and I've heard nothing about an upcoming release. Please help!
I don't know if anyone else was watching "Fox's Funniest Bloopers" tonight, but there were a number of very funny outtakes from The X-Files. I've seen other blooper reels online as well, and I was wondering if anyone knows why we've never seen these as an extra or easter egg on the DVDs. I'd...
