we have two cats...Thelma and Louise... and 4 dogs! 1 Golden Retriever/Golden lab mix and 3 Olde English Bulldogges! Wouldnt trade them for the world... probably sell my sone before one of my bullies! lol
figured this was the place to post this....Ordered some componant...HDMI, and optical cables from them. Great stuff! Everything came well packed and on time. Product is everything they said it was. Just thought I'd give them some praise for doing an outstanding job. Thomas
I have owned a Panasonic 50" Plasma for a couple of years now. Love the TV. I own several LCD tvs as well...and this is still my favorite. Enjoy and have fun
I own mutlitple TV's...DLP, LCD, Plasmas...even an older Tubed tv!. I own 2 Visio LCD's, 1 Panny Plasma, 1 Polaroid LCD, 1 Samsung LCD, Yamaha LCD Projector and a Toshiba DLP. All TV's do get used quite a bit. I have had none repaired nor experiened any picture degrading picture issues...
I love my Polk speakers. I have older RTi series 7.1 in the Theater room and 5.1 in the bedroom. I cannot stand Polk subs. I'd recomend anything other then. I agree with the last post... no need to match speakers/sub... just another 2cents.
What about stereo mode- 2 channel. May be the left amp has gone bad. If you have moved speakers, wires and the set-up is correct...I dont see much left but a bad channel. I had that happen to a standard Pio AV reciever I had... about 2 months after warranty went out. Maybe you have a friend...
what kind of cable box. I know depending on how I hae my setting- ie- 720i crop or what ever can make a difference. I have a 50"panny plasma and normally only have issues when I play with Direct tv's formating.
Talking too my local dealer about the M&K closing- some specualtion was though they were great speakers- Providing them too customers was an issue. Lot of folks dont like too wait 3-4 months for thier speakers. In one case- he told me a guy had too wait 9months. Another key mentioned item- is...
I have my Plasma above my Electric Fireplace and love it. Course its not the biggest fireplace too begin with. It also shoots the heat towards the floor so nothing is going up!. I agree I'd be leary about putting one over a "real" fireplace.
I dont know what too tell you. I have had the same TV since XMAS and have had absolutly no issues. I have all audio running through my AV reciever though- if your using the speakers on the tv...might be the tv's audio tuner. Still under warranty?
my only experience with the "inexpensive" pioneers has been good and bad. For the first year the unit was great! Sounded pretty good- had a lot of goodies on it- then about a month after the warranty ran out- the right channel went quiet. Not totaly die..but just quited. I swore never too buy...
NBC has weird audio tracks in HD- sometimes sounds like a "hall" effect. Mostly during commercials- go figure...other then that...down here in S.A.- my Direct is awesome- way better then I ever got with Dish.
I bought the same tv before xmas... 1799 open box. someone bought it and it was too big...I was there when they brought it back! Damn..hehe. I had to do quite a few adjustments on mine...but they could have messed with it prior to bringning it back. HD looks absolutely marvelous and i'm very...
I ran those ugly cubes for years on my yamaha stereo with no issues and no damage to the darn things. I did however...have them running off my sub so the signal they were getting was probably cut off @80hz. I had the 5.1 system and hated the bass module...so just ran them off the other sub...
I've been running Polk speakers for years...I evan how powered towers (RT2000i's)... but I cannot stand thier subs. Thats my opinion. I personally have had best luck with the subs when you front load them.. By this I mean in line with the front speakers on the viewing wall. One thing you may...
I know that Onkyo,Denon,Yamaha have models that will do what you want and in your price range. I was in the same boat as you when shoping around for a new reciever- I believe there will be 1-2 units per company that will do what you want: Denon AVR987 and AVR887 , Onkyo TXSR804, Yamaha HTR-6090...
I got my sister- n- law think the same one for xmas last year...or very similar model. Wasnt too bad. I did compare to the onkyo...and did go with the Yami..but that was my choice. you get the one you Liked the best. Both will do a good job.
I pulled up the 1705 to check out its capabilities- this is what I'm seeing. I'd hookd both dvr and the dvd player via componant cables to the Denon then run componant to the sony run the HDMI cable directly to the sony Ps2 I'd run too the componant section "video" with the others. This...
A lot will depend on the tv. I have seen on some tv's when you are too close- the image is poor as compared to when you are sitting at a better viewing distance. I know on my Toshiba 46" DLP there is a distance too be had or the pic looks grainy. Lot is personal preference also. I'd just be sure...
really what should effect what you want...will be seating position. If you have 2 rows of seatin..it can get tricky as I have found out in my 18x12 room
I was looking on the Yamaha web site too check out the line. I have the 2400 and I have never heard the fan. So I wanated to make sure it had one. Still dont know if it does. Looks Identicle too the 2500...so I assume if there is a fan- its internal. Basically- I've never heard the fan. I have...
The M&K sub I listened too- I'm not sure about the model. Retailed for @ $1600 though. It was in a stores "theater" room- a very nice room at that. The system was a full 7.1 M&K ran by B&K- had the 200x7 amp on them. The sub was awesome! Not boomy and did a great job. Too add- He then put in a...
I like having the HT in the master! good audio and when we do watch movies before bed time...I get the full effect. Now that my LvRm has more of a 2-channel system... its even more Ideal. My bro has a sony HTIB....not bad for what it is.. simple too.
