I've got a Toshiba 56" wide screen and a NEC LT150 front projection system. I had the RP56 on the Toshiba and the RP82 on the projector. Since the 56 died, I'm going to move the 82 to the Toshiba and look for a replacement for the NEC. What's the newest, hot, bang for the buck progressive...

I watched this for the first time and it was friggin hilarious!!!! I was bummed to find no extras of any kind. Anyone going to re-release this and give it the same treatment as Rushmore and RT?

Mine is shipping from DeepDiscountDVD (snail pace) so it won't be here for another week. Any reports on the picture quality and sound compared to the previous release? Guilty pleasure for sure ... just like Anaconda!

This movie seems to fall into the "Night of the living dead" catagory. Tons of cheapy versions and one expensive Criterion version. Are there any cheap versions that have decent video quality? I've yet to see this film and I'm thinking of buying rather than renting, since it can be had for $6.99

I personally hate the movie, but my son is totally into break dancing and would probably love it. Seems like the time is ripe for a release ... especially with all the other dance movies that were just released. Any news on this title? chris

Okay, I've heard that the superduper collector's edition was going to have more supplements, but still remain uncut. ... what about the Superbit title? Is the Superbit replacing the superduper collector's edition or is it a third version?

I'm hoping that Columbia/Tristar decides to make it a Superbit Deluxe release. Kind of makes sense ... and I would love an improved transfer to boot! Anyone know when the next special edition is supposed to come out?

I've read a lot of things regarding the release of movies. Often times I'll hear the term "we struck a new HD master that was converted down for the DVD release". Does that mean that when the new standard becomes available, studios can simply release HD versions without any further hassles?

I just got back from Eight Legged Freaks and I'm even more impressed than ever with the CGI bugs in Starship Troopers!! In Starship you can actually see the bug legs hit the ground and leave a mark. In Eight Legged Freaks they still look like they're "floating".

Are there any legitimate releases out there? I've seen a couple for $6 and some that are bundled with several other movies, but I've heard that the image quality looks like a bad VHS. Are real versions of the movie available?
