Just to close this out... I bought the remote, and it controled all of my devices, except for the TiVo, right out of the box. Took me all of about 5 minutes to learn the TiVo from its remote to the AV2100. I'm very happy with it, so far. ------------------

Found the answer to this one myself on TiVo's site. Apparently you can't use the serial connection on cable boxes...only on satelittes. Sooo....I've got to use the ghetto IR Blaster. Ah well. I'm sure it'll still work fine. Thanks!
