My Mits 65807 buying experience with Sears

I suggest using Pricescan.com to pricematch Sears. They seem to have the lowest Mits prices. Don't show them anything that has shipping charges and they won't add it on. At least, that was my experience. Steve ------------------

    Opinions on the Pioneer SD532HD5?

I would have to say that this is not a great deal. It's not a ripoff either. You can get an 5 year extended warranty from Suttertel.com for $249 and it's a Philips warranty. This makes the price $3200 for a floor model that's missing the remote. If it was me, I would pass. BTW, I think this...

Local CBS station responds to my inquiry about HDTV broadcasting

I got a similar response from the CBS affiliate here in Austin, although a bit more hostile. To make matters worse, he said it is unlikely they will broadcast in 1080i?!?!? He said it is more likely they will have several 480p channels. He claimed that it cost $12,000,000 dollars to upgrade...

    Toshiba,Pioneer and HDCP

OK, before anyone says it. I know the source of this information is dubious at best, but that is why I am posting. I was in Best Buy over the weekend and just happened to engage in a converstation with the supervisor of the TV department. I mentioned that I had great reservations in investing...
