One of my favourite scary movies and have had the old HBO snapcase DVD for ages. Anyone hear anything about this being released on blu? It certainly could use the upgrade ....
A bit of venting here but I'm beginning to get really annoyed with Universal dicing up perfectly good (in the the case of The Thing's "Terror Takes Shape" - excellent) documentaries and passing them off as a new blu-ray enhancment, U-Control. Although U-Control (or PIP) functionality is fine...
Hi All, Does anyone know of a good online retailer that sells Double Disc Blu-Ray replacement cases? After a quick search, I could only find Single Disc replacement cases. Thanks JK
Can anyone confirm the aspect ratios for the LW2 and LW3 in the Lethal Weapon Triple Feature pack are not the OAR? I was looking at the information on the back and it specifically states that all three films are 1.85:1. However, according to IMDB, LW2 & LW3 OAR are 2.35:1
Did I miss something? Amazon & DVD Empire both have Young Frankenstein as not available. I know they just put out the MB set but I assumed YF would still be available on it's own. Anyone?

Don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but over here in Region 3, the Indy set is in a digipak like the Godfather set was. I'm torn between buying the digipak region 3 and the normal keepcase region 1 set. I prefer digipaks but also prefer buying region 1 discs. :frowning:
Now that Anthology has been released and they're working on Let It Be, I'd assume there would be more Beatles stuff on DVD in the near future. Has anyone heard anything new about releasing this? I remember reading in a previous thread about this movie was being remastered for DVD. Anyone?
Does anyone know if there is any studio that may be working on this film? I understand that this film in public domain. I really don't want to buy the Madacy DVD (or anything by Madacy, in fact) if there is the possibility that someone (hopefully Criterion) is working on this.
A heads up for all those Beatlmaniacs out there. Here's an article about another bunch of "lost" Beatles tapes that were found is Australia. In the same article, it mentions the 2003 release of a "stripped-down edition of Let It Be minus the Phil Spector orchestral wash" CD as well as the...
