Every Yamaha receiver I have seen has an a/b speaker switch. I have the RX-V800 and it does.
However, I have not personally seen the two you mention, but would be suprised if they don't.

Run Cat 5 to every phone jack in the house! We had the standard two-line ran when our house was built - didn't know any better at the time.

I did some digging today and found an Indiana Law, where the service center is, that holds the authorized service center responsible for fixing a defective electronic product within 45 days or they must a) replace it or b) pay three times the cost of the product...
