I was in a local store in the detroit area (dearborn music) and saw for the 1st time multichannel audio discs. It was nice to inspect the package to see what was on them. One question I have is that there were some DTS-CD's. Are these still being made, or are they being phased out in favor od...

I am looking for a direct view flat screen 27" television that can handle the output of a progressive scan DVD player via component inputs It does NOT need to handle 720P or 1080I HDTV (would push the price up too far), just handle 480P (via my dvd player) are there any sets out there...
When I upgrade to a progressive scan dvd player, one of the minor considerations i have is that the unit be able to decode HDCD. My receiver (Yamaha RX-V3000 doesnt have this capibility).

However, I have noticed that it is more prone to...
Within the last 6 months, one of the major magazines did a feature about 4 HDTV set top boxes. I beleive they even themed it as a wild west shoot-out. Does anyone remember which magazine and what month that was?
Perhaps a link to a web site copy of that article?????
Thanks in advance

are there any other manufactures that have a progressive/5-disc carosel yet?
To me, the extra RF input is useless because you can ONLY send its output out via the Coaxial cable and not the video outputs
I run all my outputs through my yamaha receiver, which doesnt have a coaxial input, so in effect this extra RF input is useless to me. I want to run ALL video and audio...
