    PL2 Lacks Bass

Denon 3802, speakers set to small, x-overed @ 80Hz, levels calibrated. Pro logic seems to be lacking bass, upping the sub level 8-10dB seems to do the trick, any ideas? Dolby Digital/DTS/Stereo all work fine.

New Sub - Please take a look at the spl's

MJ Acoustics Pro 50 Denon 3802 Room aprox 13'x12' Link Removed I am thrilled with the British Pro50, okay it's small (8" 50watt sssh!) but it's very tight and has superb transient response. The thing is the readings are a little confusing, why am I not getting a sharp rolloff ~25Hz...

Chances of HDTV broadcasts in Europe within 6-8 years?

What are the chances of HDTV programming appearing in the UK/Europe within the next 6 years or so, slim to none? Is it basically a case of more channels @ SD or less at HD and the UK has opted for more channels? I ask this because I want to splash out on a nice direct view. Thanks

Help Please - Is my B&W damaged!?

To cut a long story short, Watching 51st State, during the explosion scene near the beginning the right tweeter seems to crackle. The left doesn't, I'm sure it's the tweeter. The volume is not high atall. I have listened to other DVD's, particularly explosions and I can't hear any crackling...

    Pros/Cons stuffing ports

Speakers in question are B&W 602 s2's, any actual advantage of filling the ports? I know bass output will be signficently reduced but can you actually gain accuracy because of the extra back pressure? Thanks

Can't decide to have my Center speaker ON or OFF.

This is my first post for months, I've been away from the HTF for a while but it's good to be back, not sure if anybody will remember me. Anyway... The one thing about HT, particularly with my setup, that still baffles me is the pros and cons of using a center speaker, even more confusing...
