Marc, You are absolutely right, no cable or speaker wire or receiver or speaker can improve sound, the very best we can hope for is to deliver the sound exactly like it was originaly produced. That said, the better the cable, the less it degrades the sound. Larry

Jim, I believe what you are looking for is Belden 1695A. You can get it in cut lengths from Have Inc for around a dollar a foot plus $7.50 for cut. Larry

Thanks for the reply, I traced my cables for a loose or bad connection and found out what the problem was. I had installed a Rat Shack adjustable attenuator to the red cable to eliminate "Red Push" and the attenuator was the problem. Thanks, Larry
