    Speakers for 2nd room

Hi Guys, I've decided to use 2 channels of my Outlaw 7100 7-channel amp to power a pair of speakers in a second room. I want to mount them high up in the corners so that I get good coverage for the entire room. The room isn't really big but I'd like something that is fairly sensitive and can...

    Aperion vs. Ascend

Thanks for the feedback guys. I think I am going to go with the Ascends for two reasons. One, they are a little cheaper than the Aperions, and two, because the HTM-200 is a sealed design I will be able to mount them right on my rear wall as surrounds. This important because I do not have enough...

I sent back an SVS 20-39pc over a year ago. Man, that was dumb.

The 20-39PC is a great sub. I am currently having a little showdown between it and a REL Q201E that I just bought and as of now the SVS is winning. I only started somparing them last night so this isn't a final verdict, but the SVS seems to have better pitch definition and transient response. I...

    Aperion vs. Ascend

That's a nice review, Brad. I must say I'm a little worried about how the Ascends would integrate with my either of my subs. It seems like the CMB-170's roll off pretty steep after 80hz or so and the subs I have seem to be stronger in the 60hz and below area rather than the mid or upper bass. Do...

    Aperion vs. Ascend

Hi guys, I'm looking for 7.1 speaker system and I've decided to go with either 7 Aperion Intimus 522D's or 3 Ascend CMB-170's and 4 HTM-200's. I acually already have 2 subs, a SVS 20-39PC and a REL Q201e. My front-end consists of a Panny RP-62, an Outlaw 950 processor, and an Outlaw 7100 amp...

    Displaying a 4:3 image on a 16:9 RPTV..

A salesman told me today that if you use a 16:9 RPTV to view regular 4:3 tv images that the black bars on the sides will burn-in to the screen and ruin the TV. Has anyone here had any experience with this? Thanks.

    WEGA sets...why so heavy?

Yeah, I think the glass is about 1 1/2" thick or something. My Parents have one and it is a heavy bastard.

    Video games and RPTV's

Is it true that video games will ruin the picture on rear-projection TV's. We have a Toshiba RPTV that is only a couple of years old and we would like to get X-BOX this Christmas but we are worried about ruining the TV. Has anyone had experience with this? Thanks, Tim
