I have the R4 disk and can confirm that the "If I never knew you" song is included as a branching option on the disc. As a side note you can ONLY listen to the commentary on the extended version of the film... Mathew Richards
Yes, Australia does indeed broadcast at 50Hz. Of our three commercial stations, one of them (you know who you are) believes that 576p is "high-definition". The other 2 broadcast limited programming at 1440x1080i, hopefully moving upto 1920x1080i/p soon... Mathew Richards

Currently the vast majority of the film studio's digital masters are kept on HD-D5 tape at 1920x1080 res. So if HD-DVD comes out in 1920x1080 res the consumer will have copies of a movie that are very close to that held by the studio. Or course some time in the future studio's may upgrade their...
All sing along... One Two Three Four Five, Six Seven Eight Nine Ten, Eleven Twelve. What I would give to have all 12 of those animated shorts. Not to mention the "Teeny little super guy, lights right up before your eye's. He's no bigger than your thumb, "Snap your fingers here I come." :)
Misery SE came out here in Australia last week, and I can confirm it is of excellent quality. (R4 didn't get that slip case however). Anyway a review of the R4 version can be found at http://www.michaeldvd.com.au/Reviews...ws.asp?ID=2683 HybridMATRiX

Babylon 5: The Gathering/In the Beginning DVD has been reviewed at the Australian site www.dvd.net.au
Australia is getting an NTSC disk (Why Warners???), thus this review should also cover the R1 disk. Unfortunatley video quality doesn't look that promising...

Another thing you can do is check your disk for scratches. Scratching has been a major problem on many Star Wars disks in Australia. Fox knows of this problem and have told all retailers to replace problem disks on sight.

The movie will have a running time of 165 minutes so splitting it over 2-disks would probably be the best solution. The director has also hinted that the DVD will feature added scenes and more gore for the battle sequences. So 5.1DD, 6.1DTS, 5.1DD Music Only and 4 audio commentaries sound better...
I think the director should have full conrol of his or her movie. But wait... George Lucas didn't direct Empire or Jedi... Does Irvin Kershner have any say with what George does to Empire? Is Richard Marquand rolling in his grave to changes (and possible future changes) to Jedi? Out of respect...
