Glitch in The Empire Strikes Back: When the AT-AT walkers attack the rebel base - the first scene inside the AT-AT walker: The small hologram of darth vader is badly cropped along the sides. Pretty sure that was okay in the old versions...
Each time I think of getting a new dvd, I keep wondering what kind of english subtitling has been used. I can never find a good source/review to tell me whether the english subtitling used is Hard of Hearing (CC) , regular, or both. I'm looking for regular (or both). It's happened all too...
Thanks Colin, I was asking if the DVD offered standard english dialogue subtitles. I'm sure some people find sound descriptions a great help, but I really like "standard" subtitling.
Hi guys, I've read the underworld dvd has English, French and Spanish subtitles. But does anyone know whether the english subtitles are closed captioned or not? Thanks, Willem
just one question, as I can't find confirmation on the exact specs: Does the R1 version of the Indy box set have regular English subtitles or Closed Caption? Thanks, Willem
Just want to make sure, does the Superbit version of John Carpenter's Vampires have both english AND english closed caption subtitles, or just the latter? Thanks, Willem
could this be due to cr*ppy plastic used in the fabrication process? My disc also still plays, but for how long? I'm pretty disappointed about this. I've never seen a cd break like that...
I don't know if any of you experienced this, but I've seen this on several occasions: In some cases, the DVD-disc starts eventually showing cracks (from the inside out) when I click it back in its casing. It could be due to temperature changes expanding the plastic, but I don't think so...
Thanks Ed. I think I read your thread already...(already a bit hazy though) something about a bass management bug in the 3803. I have the 3802, so I'm not sure if it has the bug. Worth a try setting the sublevel above the mains...(I hope I remember to lower the sub-gain first, though :)...
Well, I tried resetting the filters, but the "occurrence" :) did not happen again, so I guess it solved itself... Could this have been due to setting one large filter? I read the BFD manual and it said it was better to divide one large filter into several smaller ones...
Hi guys, I've got a question about my BFD. I had set some filters, and was testing them with a Test-CD. At some point the Test-tone started playing (at the point where I had set the filters), but it sounded like the BFD started EQ-ing too late, because it went loud then suddenly soft, like...
Chris, the most ideal thing would be to have a flat response from 20Hz to 20kHz ie. no peaks or dips. The lower the crossover, the more your sub will be able to concentrate on the deep, deep bass. You should try to run your mains as small, and set the crossover of the receiver at 100Hz...
Thanks Edward. I had already done one of the required tasks Mains only, set to large (compensated SPL): 66Hz- 61dB 70 - 61 75 - 62 79 - 61 84 - 62 94 - 64 100 - *peak* (71) I also tested the sub's response at the seating position from 100Hz down. Sub only, No crossover...
