When I put a DVD in can I go straight to the movie?
If I want to watch the previews I'll do it - Don't force me to watch them
Your warning about commentaries not being the view of the studio - I don't need to see this if I'm not watching the commentaries. Make the warning part of actually...
That's what I'm saying, really. Put all you want in there, studios, but, when I start a movie, it should go straight to the menu. If I choose "commentaries" then give me the commentary warning I see no reason at all for the video about "you wouldn't steal a car". There's already an FBI...
Dave, I'm looking at iPod myself, there's an adapter on this page ... http://www.apple.com/ipod/accessories.html I've also seen something similar at Radio Shack ... not finding it online but I've seen it in stores Sounds like I should start over with what I started doing .... I've...
It's recognizing Hitch and Are We There Yet as the same disc. Let me dive a little deeper into the problem .... If I can the text for one of them it changes the text for both of them .... to the same thing
My DVF-727 is identifying Hitch and Are We There Yet as the same disc. If I change the info for one it changes both of them. MAKE IT STOP!!! I've tried all I can think of and still don't have a solution.
-- I have purchased several discs to find that, upon playing them, the first thing I get is this REALLY crappy music that goes along with this "Downloading is Illegal" video ....... HELLO! I've just purchased this, why am I subjected to this? -- The thing about the studio not being...
Lifetime of the receiver is correct. At the current rates: $12.95/mo $142.45/year $271.95/2 years $499.99/lifetime Monthly is $505.05 3 years 3 months Yearly is $469.80 for 4 years 2 year is $543.90 for 4 years I've got a CD changer from the early 90's that still works...
Have someone else finish my ceiling.
Measure the crooked walls (someone else built) so there's less gaps in my ceiling (because I assumed the walls were straight)
Locate my equipment elsewhere.
Put the in-the-wall-connections behind the equipment rack instead of the middle of the wall...
The last house I was in I had plans for two 8'x8' red (a dark red) squares with a 3' border of blue (a view from the top would look like a blue 8 with the 'holes' filled in red). The only problem with the room was the TV wall has a 3'x8' window with a streetlight just outside  So...
The only things I've recorded, without paying for, are artists/songs that are either very difficult to find or not even available on CD I had The Jarmels - 14 Golden Greats on order for 4 months before I gave up on finding it and recorded it from the internet. I've only ever heard one of the...
I haven't signed to satellite yet but I bought the Sirius Sportster system because the boombox has an auxiliary input (which I used at work with my CD changer) It says it's 5 watts but it's a great sounding 5 watts :emoji_thumbsup:
blah blah blah I can't stand talk radio. I'll be making the move to satellite so I can listen to MUSIC instead of obnoxious ads. And I'll probably sign up for both of them .... I've got an XM-ready head-unit for my '65 Imperial and I recently bought Sirius' Sportster (home/car/boombox)

Thank you for clarifying, I did see that. A secondary amp would be subjected to the same demands though. It seems to me the easiest way around that would be to amp each 'zone' seperately (after the switch) but that can be costly.
Just to clarify .... Some receivers have a powered Zone 2 (I'm guessing they'd have speaker connections) I've had 2 receivers with RCAs for Zone 2 --- the first one was a powered Zone 2 (multi-room/source) but you lost main surrounds with Zone 2 on. The second is just a line out requiring an...
http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn..._34976,00.html http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn...702355,00.html I'm thinking the newer one is the 814 as they typically start as series (700/800/900) and add 1 to it as the line progresses and the current 800-series is 815
I have a Pioneer VSX-D901S that has a short in the motherboard (as well as other problems, according to the repair shop). I REALLY like this receiver and it's capabilities/capacity. Is there any way to upgrade it to digital while retaining all it's other features?
Oooops ... :b Justin Lane: I've got a crazy setup on my stereo, it's just the work involved (# of LPs) that is the problem LanceJ: I've done transfers and don't notice anything BTW, Justin, my setup is like this: Source >RCA> Receiver >RCA> MD >Optical> CD-R >RCA> Receiver...
John Watson: That is a stiff price -- and I'd expect them to put all they could on the disc, not just one side. Dave Stark: The vinyl WILL be kept, just stored away as it is now. Christ Reynolds: I've done the LD replacement thing, of course I only had 20 movies, the only unreplaced...
Hmmmm ... I have the DV-F727 and have never had that problem. But then, I have the PDF-1007 for CDs so I've never actually put a CD in my DVD player ;)
Companies that will do recording for you ... My parents have a ____load of LPs that I'd like to put on CD for them but the process is a pain in the neck.
Phil is a freak of sorts ... Ever read Ronnie's book "Be My Baby" --- She spent her wedding night with her mother sleeping on the bathroom floor because his mother told him that she married him for his money and he went ballistic about it.
